Sesame Street Elmo 11-Inch Plush Hand Puppet for Ages 1+

This is exactly what I needed for my child's collection. The puppet has large eyes that really stand out and captures Elmo's classic look perfectly. It fits most hands comfortably, making it easy for my kid to play with. The plush feels soft and durable, good for regular use. Overall, a fun and well-made toy puppet that brings Elmo to life.

2-year-old girl loves it. Bought Elmo originally, then after a few weeks, bought Cookie Monster so they could have conversations. She won’t go to bed without them sleeping on their own pillow!

I get a kick out of this guy. I'm pretty good with the Cookie Monster voice and so it is a lot of fun for my limited audiences. He's on the small side and he doesn't have those googly eyes that the real CM has that make him so visually funny. This puppets eyes have a slight downcast look and you have to angle your hand a bit to make it look like he's looking at someone. I haven't had any durability issues.

I bought three Sesame Street puppets, Elmo, Cookie Monster and Big Bird to entertain a six month old baby. Baby is too little to actually play with the puppets yet, but the infant loves the adults using them to do puppet shows. These really make the little one just giggle. So far Elmo seems to be the favorite (could be the bright color). From a quality standpoint, these puppets are well made, with sturdy but plush fabrics; and are just the right size to fit on your hand. I've read some isolated reviews that it is difficult to move the mouth on the puppets. It is a slightly stiff, but not really a problem in my opinion, and should loosen up overtime. As a side note, I searched numerous toy stores and the internet for these puppets and could not find them, till I went to the Amazon web site. So happy to finally locate these puppets, as they are new favorite toys the whole family can interact with.

My grandbaby loves this little Elmo puppet. The only thing I wish is that his mouth would open wider. It seems a little hard to open and close his mouth other than that grandbaby is happy.

Let me tell you a little about this toy. As far as a resemblance to the actual cookie monster I believe its spot on. The functionality of the puppet is exactely as expected. You can use the hands and the mouth if your skilled enough but the functionality isnt what impressed me. I bought this puppet because a review said that it was quite durable. Well I have used the puppet to play aggressively with my puppy and he has yet to rip it, tear it, or really damage it at all. If you have a toddler or small child you are buying this for then expect for the puppet to remain perfectly in tact throughout your childs entire life. I took it outside and stompped on it just to prove a point to my puppy that fun can't last forever. To my avail no known damage. I have to say overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and am thinking about buying all the sesame street characters and putting on a play in my backyard for my neighbors who will never show up. 10/10 would buy again. But ill never have to because this puppet will last forever. Long after humans have left this earth my cookie monster puppet will roam the lands bringing joy to every puppy/and or child he encounters. Update: My puppy has completely destroyed this puppet. superbe marionnette d'elmo ! j'ai des grandes mains, ça passe sans problème. marionnette d'excellente qualité, grande, maniable. lavez là avant de l'utiliser pour éviter la perte de peluches. avec main à l'intérieur, soit vous action nez la bouche soit, avec votre pouce et auriculaire, les bras. ma fille n'en finit plus de rigoler, parfait !

Fan favorite of toddlers! Soft, plush and good quality. Difficult to use the mouth but using the hands is no issue.

Elmo has been a great hit with our 1 year old, and is getting a good 'workout' everyday. He remains robust and in one piece, despite some strong (loving) hugs.
