An inexpensive way to start playing
This is an ideal instrument to start with. Nicely made with good intonation it is pleasant to play. Ideal also if you are thinking of learning to play the classical western flute.

Good film prop! Can't play it
I don't know how to play the flute yet, but it was a great prop for a film set! Compact, came with a bag and box to carry it and looked nice on camera. Not easy to use.

Absolutely wonderful sound
I've not owned a flute before in any incarnation, but as far as it goes, I'm loving this as much first, or introduction. It's easy to play, and easy to learn to play. If you've not played one before, there are excellent tutorials on YouTube from how to prepare the Reed through to playing. I mention this because there are comments complaining that the instrument makes no sound. To those people - who don't mention if the instrument is damaged - I would suggest it's more user error than it not working. I may get one in another key at some point, but for now I'm going to adore this little beauty.

Waste of money
Almost put myself into respiratory failure trying to get a single note out of mine. Got ZIP! Gave it to a musician I know who plays flute. He couldn't either.

Pas de notice dans ce coffret permettant de savoir quoi faire avec les petites pièces contenu dedans. Aucun son ne sort de cette flute. Quel dommage. J ai du renvoyer l article pour me faire rembourser. Mise à part cela la flute est très joli mais en décoration pas pour etre utilisé.
