Great vapor barrier for a 6'x8' sauna
Great product for use as my vapor barrier on my 6'x8' home-built sauna. Easy to cut and apply. to my framing. What was best was the amount on the roll was perfect for my project.

Rips very easily
This is not the vapor barrier to use for a sauna. It rips very easy, fragile. There is another one I ordered on Amazon that is extremely strong and also does not have a paper backing. Strange this is sold as a sauna vapor barrier.

Paper backing, very fragile, does it’s job very well once finished
Delicate by nature. Has a brown paper backing. After installed, don’t touch it with anything. Holes get poked if you look at it wrong. Nice it isn’t plastic or Mylar for a sauna, so this is the compromise. Get plenty of good foil seam tape. For seams obviously, but also for the patches and tears from staples.Radiates heat perfectly

Very thin and rips easy.
As others have mentioned, it is very thin, and if there is nothing behind at your staple will go right through it. It gets the job done and should hold up to heat. You just need to be very careful and delicate with it. I went through three rolls of aluminum tape to patch holes and go over all the staples.
