Great toy for swimming pool

My little sister loves this doll! At first I couldn't get her to take baths without a struggle but now she loves taking baths! She always wants to play with this doll in and out of water. Great doll! Definitely recommend

BIG hit. Recipient had wanted the magic mermaid that has the wand and the "aquarium." After reading the reviews, I decided on this as a better alternative. We bought two for a couple of nieces and, they were thrilled (age 3 and 5). Wanted to get in the bath to try them. No complaints from Mom or Dad. No report on whether they actually did swim, but the girls were happy with them. They can still play in the water with them.

My daughter really likes this mermaid doll for the bathtub. That's the only reason I gave it three stars. When I put batteries in for the doll to "swim," it immediately starts the swimming motion even though it wasn't in water, and it wouldn't turn off until I took the batteries out. My daughter is happy to play with it without batteries, so that's the only reason I'm keeping this clearly defective product.

It is a Christmas gift for my granddaughter.

Cute doll, but she didn't last. By the third bath, water had leaked into the battery area ruining the mechanics. She no longer swims. her rubber tail is not very durable either. That quickly got a tear in it & now is almost completely torn off. We haven't even the doll for 2 months. she has probably been played with less than a dozen times and she is junk.

It won't turn off automatically. It should stop moving when it is out of the water. but ours doesn't stop at all unless you take off the battery and the tail of this Moxie mermaid doesn't move as much as the one you see in the advertisement and some youtube videos.

Just what my niece was looking for!

My daughters absolutely love this mermaid - not the first they've had (battery compartment can leak water if not refitted well and the tail doesn't last forever). They find the colour changing tail magical! These are getting harder to find now.
