First off the battery is excellent, an easy replacement for my Dyson v6 at a far lower cost than a Dyson factory battery. This one definitely lasts 20%+ longer than the original and the 3 led indicator bars are both useful and accurate. The battery worked flawlessly for six months, used 3-4 times per week--but then just stopped charging one day, with the middle light just blinking endlessly. The battery was still well within the warranty so I contacted the company. They responded the same day (on a Sunday!) and suggested a quick test of removing the battery and charging it separately. That didn't work unfortunately, so they immediately shipped a replacement--and I mean IMMEDIATELY. I noticed the problem on Sunday, emailed them Sunday and Monday, and received the replacement on Tuesday. That's some pretty ridiculous customer service! While the first battery only lasting 6 months isn't great, the company standing behind their product like that is definitely a good sign. Hopefully I just got a faulty one before, and this one will last 3 years or so like the original Dyson battery did.

Works perfectly. Quit in 3 months but warranted for 12 months. They replaced it in 2 days. Great service. Two years later it quit again and they replaced it even though the warranty was up.

terrible battery quality. They work ok for the first month then the life starts to die out. within 4 mon you are lucky to get 5-7 minutes with the vacuum. within 6 months, 3-5 min tops. i bought 2 both became so weak they would not run the dysan for morend5 min 8 months. I'm in a 2 Bedroom apartment. Small space, do not use it very much. - Maybe 5-10 min every other day and 15 min once per week. Original batteries were fine for several years. Fit and finish is ok, but they use very poor quality batteries. DO NOT BUY.

The battery failed after 7 months (would not charge at all). I contacted customer service. After I answered a few questions, they promptly sent me a replacement. The replacement has been working great so far. I really appreciate that customer service was so responsive and quick to send out a replacement.

I gave this battery all "5's"...but I will be candid: I'm not too sure about longevity...as I just recently bought the battery replacement. I CAN say: The charge lasts a LONG time with the new battery The battery swapping was VERY easy, and took less than 5 minutes. I LOVE the LED battery charge level indicator. The original battery only had one LED showing it was charging. this little addition is more helpful than you may think. If your original DC61 battery is about dead. This battery replacement is a great choice.

I wrote the following after my first experience with their battery. I installed the replacement they sent in December 2021. Now, at the end of August, it's completely dead. I would expect to get at least a year out of a battery, wouldn't you? I may have to bite the (expensive) bullet and just get one from Dyson. I wrote the following review and the company contacted me almost immediately. They suggested several "fixes", none of which worked. At that point they shipped me a new battery which arrived in about 5 days. I am VERY pleased with their customer service. Now we'll see about the battery! Worked great until about 2 months after the return limit. Now it's completely dead less than 6 months after installation.

This battery has been a great purchase. And this is coming from someone that reads lots of reviews before I buy. This battery last longer than our original one. We bought it Aug 2021 and it is Apt 2022 and no issues. Have recommended it to others. We have a Dyson V6.

Installed without any issues, charged up the battery and it worked as expected. When I tried to use one month later, it would no longer take a charge and is completely dead. Do not recommend this brand. Update - Company replaced this battery and am hopeful that this one will last much longer. Update #2 - The replacement battery didn't last much longer. Extremely disappointed in this purchase (and replacement).
