I’m 80 years old and live in Albuquerque at a mile above sea level. My blood oxygen had been running at 92 with a resting pulse rate about 79 bpm. I bought my Breathe three years ago, but left it unused until about a month ago. Since I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, I finally got serious and started using my Breather for a few minutes every day. Wow! My blood oxygen went from 92 to 95, and my resting pulse rate went from 70 down to 50 this morning! This thing really works. I now spend most of the day breathing with my lower abdominal muscles instead of chest muscles. A critical element is the Breather application which I run on my iPad. It makes sure you inhale and exhale right. It puts up a reminder every morning and evening, and encourages you to make progress and tract. My lower abdominal muscles are much stronger. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s only about what you’d pay for a single meal eating out for two at a hamburger place. I find the construction quite durable. It’s easy to clean. Just soak it in in water and blow it dry.

This little device is convenient and fantastic. 5 minutes a day, 1 week per level, for 6 weeks, and it’s as effective as blood pressure medication (according to a study I read a few years ago). Basically every summer I get on this thing for 6 weeks and have pretty good cardio because of it! I’m able to speak for longer without taking a breath, my karaoke singing is better and more nuanced, and I feel so much better (in week 4 right now!). I definitely recommend it. Worth every penny although pricey.

I wanted a simple tool to strengthen my breathing and improve breath control during workouts. This delivers. Setup is straightforward and the resistance adjustment is easy to dial in. I started on a low setting and increased gradually as it got easier. What I like most is that it makes the training feel measurable. You can feel the difference between settings and track progress over time. The device feels sturdy, seals well, and is easy to clean. It is also compact, so it is easy to keep in a bag and actually use consistently. The guided training support is helpful for building a routine and staying consistent, especially at the beginning. It is not cheap, but it feels like a well made product that does what it claims when you use it regularly.

I have COPD and am astonished at how much this eases my breathing problems - in fact, they have almost disappeared. I stopped all the traditional meds (they had side effects I could not manage). In less than a week I noticed the difference. I sleep soundly through the night and have more energy. 10 reps twice a day - what could be easier.

By the looks of all the reviews and the video in the description and the amount i paid, i was under the impression that it came with a storage case. Mine did not and that was disappointing, i store my expensive device now in a ziplock bag, doesn’t seem right. Also very disappointed by the app as others have mentioned. It is very complicated and not helpful. I want to go into the app click on get started and blow into the machine while following direction, I don’t want to build a schedule and only be allowed to use the app during that timeframe. As for the actual device, it seems to work and i follow a different app/program from a different company.

“If you can’t breathe, nothing else matters.” It’s true. I took it for granted until now. But my breathing was seriously affected by a recent serious infection, and I’d already felt like as I’ve aged I just can’t get enough air when conditioning at the gym. My doctor just put me on a maintenance and a rescue inhaler. I do not want to stay on an inhaler. So, I wanted to do whatever possible to improve my lung function. Admittedly, though, I was skeptical of the glowing reviews. But they’re right. I started on setting 3 for both inhale and exhale. Very quickly I noticed I was sleeping better. My sleep disturbance has fallen from 10-15% to 1-5% each night according to my sleep app. I’ve kept using it and in just a few sessions I was able to increase both resistances to 4 for the first two sets and 5 for the third - and feel even better now than before. There are several devices like this one available on here, but in my research, this one kept coming up. I’m sure there are cheaper devices. But weighed against the benefit and the minimal cost for this much difference in a healthcare device, this represents real value.

Es muy buen producto, no es para los que apenas empiezan la rehabilitación pulmonar pero posteriormente puede ser una gran herramienta. Recomiendo que un profesional te enseñe a usarlo, esta muy bien la app pero no es suficiente, cuando tienes daño pulmonar o dolor es diferente. Se limpia súper bien, es fácil de usar y es resistente.
