I LOVE these papadum and have been buying them for years
I love these papadum. I've been buying these for years. Some people complain about "the smell". These papadum contain asafoetida, which smells. That's just the way it is -- asafoetida smells. BUT they don't TASTE like that. They taste just fine and I love them because they are exactly what I was looking for -- papadum without crap ingredients, unhealthy seed oils, etc. And they use mung beans, which are healthier and easier to digest than other beans (such as lentils). (I realize the label says "Mung Bean Plain Papadum Lentil Crisp" -- they do not contain lentils in the literal sense; only mung beans.) Completely clean ingredients. I toast them briefly in the toaster and eat them. Great snacks.

TASTE IS VERY ODD
Okay, to give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt...I had no idea what these were; how they tasted and what to expect. They completely OVER PACKAGE this thing. You get a few PAPER THIN slices of something in a cardboard box and then they are wrapped in cellophane. The entire food is not an 1/8 of an inch contained in the box. RIDICULOUS. The box cost more than the food, I have no doubt. It has a very odd taste and unfortunately, I bought several boxes. Will definitely try and give them away. They taste horrible in my opinion.

Too spicy
These are very good but SUPER SPICY. I thought they would be plain but they have so much black pepper I can’t eat them.

Sturdy packaging and great taste.
I was worried that they would arrive broken but the box is well designed. Great flavor. They took a little longer in my microwave but that is probably due to the its power. The best I have had in years. I would buy these again.

An Acrid Flavor Dominates the Spices
I really wanted to support this collective of women baking traditional papadam, but there was an acrid flavor - almost a coating - in the top notes. The spices and lentil notes came through after the initial bewilderment. Could only take one bite. Sorry ladies.

Vegan and gluten free.
I haven't had a chance to try them yet, but vegan and gluten free, I'm guessing they are going to score top marks. Good value for money.

PAPADUM LENTIL CRISP
I was impressed with this product, especially when you put it in the microwave and within a matter of seconds the product is ready to eat. Dry tasty.

Tastes horrible
I was hoping for a lentil tasting one like I had at an Indian restaurant. This tasted completely different and horrible. I had to throw the whole package away. Beware!
