Itโs not suitable for large slices of bread.
Love this toaster - I use small a toastie loaf which fits perfectly & is enough for me for a toasted sandwich with a filling. Personally I can close the lid as it cooks and have no issues with its functionality or size.

Broke after 2nd usage
The clip to hold together broke on the second use. Waste of money , build quality is terrible it seems . I should have gone for more expensive better quaility

What a life saver
I absolutely love my new 4 in 1 sandwich maker. The fact that the plates click off to allow for easy cleaning is brilliant. I am disabled so it is so much easier having detachable plates.
