Optimum Time OE Series 3 Equestrian Event Watch OE395 - Yellow

I use it for timing in scent work trials. It does great. I like the intermittent time warnings. It gives a warning beep at :30 and as the beeps progress so the intensity of the beeps. It also counts up past your target countdown time. One big feature for me is the time does not go away. Some of the other timers the face would black out and you would have to tap it to have the numbers show. You don't have to do that here.

The function and size of these watches for riding is great. I have used it in both comptitions and also to time training. However, the buckle on the band of the watch broke after about a year and when I contacted Optimum the customer service person told me they did not replace or sell the watch bands and that I and gave me the name of a company that could sell me one. That company never responded to my emails, and the band was not listed on their site. I tried to replace it with bands and buckles that I found on-line that looked like they might work, but none did. I ended up resentfully buying another watch......Optimum needs to bring band replacement inhouse...or design a watch with a better latch.
