This resonated but disappointing on No Contact
This book is well-researched and amazingly comforting and validating. I had two very peaceful nights’ sleep after reading it.It was, however, disappointing to read the author’s interpretation on divorce and/or distancing oneself from a malignant narcissistic relative.I believe God was advising us to turn away from evil in all its forms, even within families. How can serving one person’s ego be more important than doing more general good works (to help many)? Isn’t it also more important to preserve a good-hearted person, capable of spreading love and support, than to allow their demise at the hands of one selfish, evil person?

Worth far more than the asking price
I have paper back print. A couple of typos and doesn’t read like a professional printed book (which isn’t important but others might think so) but a truly easy and enjoyable read, the book is incredible and worth far more than £10 due to the fact the content is So thorough, extensive and biblically sound! So so much to learn from this book! Everything backed by scripture. I have been blessed to read this book and thankful to God for using the author to speak to me!

One of a kind
This is the only book written on narcissism through a biblical perspective. Packed with verses but not boring at all. Could not put it down since the past few months I've been through a lot and had so many questions in my head. It's a sturdy book that gives a lot of answers and takes you to prayer.

A hugely important book for our times
I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for this book and for the authors dedication to this subject.Understanding what is happening to you when dealing with a narcissist is a major step on the pathway to thriving in the circumstance you are in. My personal experience was well beyond my ability to deal with and whilst secular literature played an important part in enlightening me as to what was going on in my life it wasn’t until I was led to the authors book/blog that real freedom began. Dealing with an individual who exhibits these traits is incredibly difficult, normal rules do not apply, the deceit, projection, blame shifting etc is bewildering and plays havoc with your mental state. The secular world has limited answers for this and although can be very useful does not address the core issues. Almost all will advise no contact and whilst this is definitely an option in many circumstances, this book superbly illustrates and explains how to deal with the situation from Gods perspective. As you read through you will likely find yourself saying, that’s me, that’s my situation but rather than end there the book gives rock solid biblical advice on how to deal with it. After spending the best part of a year in the psalms and using them as my prayers, this book/blog gave a path forward that released me from despair and put me firmly on a path of healing. It’s no coincidence that many of the psalms I had been reading were quoted throughout this book. When you begin to understand how God is using the narcissist in your life for your good then your heart is freed from bitterness, vengeance and a feeling of being unjustly treated. The book is excellent for keeping your focus away from yourself and looking to God for the answers. I found that whenever I had a question or circumstance that seemed too difficult, the book always pointed me towards the solution and more importantly away from my limited understanding and back to focusing on Gods perspective and purpose. If anyone finds themselves in a situation where it seems hopeless then this book will play a hugely important part in pointing them in a direction that will ultimately find them victorious. Full of practical advice all grounded in biblical wisdom, an essential tool for finding peace and victory in one of life’s difficult trials.
