The sound is excellent
I love the phones, first time I’ve been able to hear clearly on a telephone. The worse problem is the instructions on setting them up and remembering what everything is for, but I don’t think you need to use all the features unless you want to. I’ve only had them for a few days so still working on figuring them out…which Im sure I will get used to them.

Great phone for the hard of hearing
Product is excellent. My dad can hear people for the first time in ages. Ideal phones for the hard of hearing (he has a hearing aid). Would recommend. Only reason for four stars is that the instructions could be much better as you only get a quick start guide and there are lots of functions to understand.

Missing some design basics, don't waste your money
Size, weight and styling are good, easy to hold and good for those with poor eyesight. However, this phone does not live up to the hype. Amplification is in SPEAKER mode only, it does NOT amplify the earpiece. Therefore when holding it your hand is over the speaker muffling it, making the extra volume pointless. You also need to press a small "boost" button on the side every time the phone is answered, useless for people who can't remember to do that or have arthritis / Peripheral Neuropathy. No way of just fixing it to always be loud. When dialling it "announces" the number you have typed in, but if the person answered during the (slow) announcement, you can't hear them, so at best you miss what they say (particularly bad if you have called an automated service), or worst they may think it's a dead call and put the phone down. This is supposed to be an accessible phone, but they have missed some real design basics. Don't waste your money.

At last I can answer a phone call with confidence!!
I am not afraid to answer the phone when it rings. My hearing is very poor but I find with this phone I can hear whoever is on the line. I give it a five star rating because I can use the phone again, I used to have to rely on my wife to take the phone calls but now I put it on boost and have no problem.

Good for hard of hearing
This is a great handset for the hard of hearing. The base station has a booster that makes it loud enough for those suffering severe hearing loss. The only downside is that the wireless handsets don't match the base station for volume. On reflection it might have been better without the wireless sets.Apart from that very good.
