So this review is for the Brass Kicker ADDITIVE. It is not in itself a toner, as you add this into a toner and developer mixture. The existing reviews all sound like they only used a toner version of this and it confused me. I got all ready to do my hair only to realize this is just an additive. I had to go to Sally’s and get a toner. I got the Wella Color Tango Cream Toner in CT18 (I usually use the T18 regular toner so I figured they were similar— they are).I put about two capfuls into my toner and developer mixture. I gobbed it onto my hair and let it set for just about 30 min. It rinsed out nicely but my hair definitely felt a little stripped but I am almost certain that is bc I used 20 vol developer since I like a little lift when I tone.I got pretty nice results. I think if I’d put more of this stuff in the mixture it might’ve been even better but I was afraid to dull my hair down and make it muddy looking. I am satisfied with my results for sure. I just used a good conditioner in the shower and now that my hair has been dried and styled for a few hours it is smoother and not straw like at all.I definitely recommend this as an additive. I was nervous bc who the f knows what hair turns out like w toners sometimes but I kept it simple and it worked really nicely. There is plenty of additive still left over for multiple toning jobs in the future. Price is definitely worth it.I included some before and after pics. The before pic is actually after I used a brass removing shampoo and it did almost nothing but my hair was even more brassy than that. But it was the only pic I had to compare. As you can see my hair now is far less brassy. Hard to tell if it was just the toner that worked or this additive I guess but I would say it did work bc my hair is like hello brass lets stay friends forever, and nothing ever really works. And now my hair is good, so I consider it a success :)

READ THE ENTIRE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION!! And you will be very happy 😊 You will need a developer to use this toner, a 20 volume works well. You also need to have previously lightened your hair. This worked so well, people commented and complimented too. It's a very small bottle, but a little goes a long way. I would estimate 8-10 uses. I haven't tried the brass Kicker yet, but Wella's products are high quality and great for home use. I highly recommend this!

Gorgeous silver blue toned color
Works very well! I love the color that it leaves after toned. It also is super fast when it tones. One second I looked down and it's just blond and I looked away and the next second I look down and it's like a bluish-gray! That's the color that I want and this is so perfect! I love it so pretty.

Really worked
This Brass Kicker did its job. Toned down yellow/brass colors. But for color, Guy Tang color is way better.

Way better then T18
Wella Blondor was recommended to me by a friend and its leaps and bounds better then well t18. I mixed this with the same Blondor brass banisher and it worked wonders getting the remaining brassy undertones out of my bleached hair. Its very much worth the price.

I've never tried this before but WOW. JO MORE YELLOW OR ORANGE, just a pretty ash blonde. This is a new favorite.
