This holster is a VERY tight fit. I had to cock and lock my 1911 just to keep the slide from cycling trying to stuff it in the holster. That said, once in there, it is snug and secure. The thumb strap is a little cheesy but I’m sure it’ll work on and for IWB purposes. I would not recommend using this thumb break strap for OWB carry. I’m sure the holster itself will stretch some over time and it is already more forgiving. It also fits my SA35 and Ruger MkIV. Snugly as well. The mag holders are tight on a 7 round 1911 single stack magazine and I haven’t tried a double stack yet but I’m sure they’ll wiggle in somehow. The metal clips are like any other IWB economy rig, simple spring steel and it’s also tight. Overall not a bad buy for the money, and I’m thinking this will actually fit several of my handguns for various purposes, so this was a win for me. Just know that if you have a rail or extended slide, big threaded barrel, probably any optic, this will NOT fit your weapon.

The holster is decent quality for the price. I like the clip can be placed on either side, which gives you an outside the waistband as well as an inside the waistband holster. It came with two magazine holders made of the same material. The clips on those are tight and sturdy and can be used for any medium size to full size magazines. They hold my 1911 10mm mags just fine. The holster itself is snug. It's a tight fit at first, but I like that for retention purposes. The clip is a tad loose on my belt, but I'm just using it around my farm and for target practice anyway. I like the retention strap snaps on either side. Good snaps and hold tight. I wish it was closed on the bottom as my 1911 10mm hangs out the end about a quarter to half inch. Not a big deal.

The first time I tried to fit my 1911 into the holster, it racked the slide it was so tight. I removed it and shaped the holster a little bit and tried again and it fits like a glove. Multiple pulls and re-holsters with no issue. I would definitely recommend IAI 1911 5inch larger frame

I have no problem with the Holster, it was pretty decent, the problem was I ordered a holster for a 1911 9mm with a 5 in barrel, the one they sent was for a small pistol, my 1911 barrel would not start to go into the holster. THe small holster was well made but the wrong size'

This is a great holster, fits my sidearm perfectly, nice and soft on the inside so it doesn’t scratch the pistol. The snap is nice and snug and holds it in just perfectly. I really enjoy the fact that I can put the clip on either side of the holster so I can carry it outside the waistband, or inside for ccw.

The holster is cheap and flimsy, I wouldn't even think of using it to actually carry my 1911. I do keep it in this holster loose at home instead of my leather one, work good for that

For the price it's a great holster, pistol fit nicely & it came with two belt clip holders.
