Exactly What I Needed For a Recipe
My local Japanese fusion restaurant has a dish they call "seven mushroom to-ban." After questioning servers about the ingredients, I developed a hack to make it at home. The only difficult part is finding the yuzu juice to give the butter sauce the right citrus tang. Oranges, lemons, and limes -- even a combination of them -- doesn't give the right flavor. It has to be yuzu juice. Since I can't find yuzu juice anywhere near where I live, I turned to this. It's perfect! Yes, it's expensive, and yes, the bottle is small.
