A little about me. 6'4, 380, bald and size 8 new era hats rarely fit. If you read many of the reviews you'll hear about how big this hat is as if it's almost too big. I'm writing this review for the real ones. Real ones who have been shopping at the big and tall section since 6th grade. Real ones that while in the big and tall section, run into these normal size guys who think they should be able to shop in our section too and always comment something like "I thought i t was hard to find clothes, but you must have a real hard time!"That's right sir. This hat isn't for you. You think you have a big head and I actually have a big head. This hat fits flawlessly for real ones like me. So if you're complaining about this hat being too big, it's time to go back to the regular hat section and leave this one to the real ones.

I have two other Columbia PFG Mesh XXL ball caps and they fit fine. This one is ridiculously big - several inches wider than the other two. There is not a head big enough to fit this hat.

My head is 7 7/8. It is a big cranium! I am always on the last two snaps of a snap back hat! L/xl hats are always too tight so i thought i would go up to xxl. And I am swimming in this. It fits like a 5 gallon bucket. It covers the top of my ears. I would only buy if you melon is 8 and bigger. Maybe 8 to 8.5

I searched high and low... I wonderful hat... It's fits... Thought xxl was a little loose I am thrilled to receive it!

Read the fine print on the size of the particular design you choose the “ONE SIZE” I thought meant one size fits all turned out to be one size of XXL. Seriously who has a head this big? This thing would fit a basketball!

The cap looks great and .. Tag says tall on the inside. I will look around for another.

This is the biggest hat I have ever ordered. There is room to spare and I normally wear a 7 and 3/4 custom fit . Quality is good and looks nice.
