Gravity Threads Oval Hair Pin with Edge Weaving

I received this mid-February 2015 and it is now the end of May. The holes for the pin have split open to the point that it loosens and can't hold my hair for more than an hour or two. And how much stress isi involved in holding not-very-thick hair in place for the day? It's nice looking but rather flimsy, and although it's advertised as leather, it's not. Would not buy again. I did find an imitation tortoiseshell one also on Amazon and bought that at the same time -- it is soldiering along like gangbusters.

This hair pin is great. It's well made and hold my hair in place. I have long hair that is fine and dense. I put my hair in a ponytail and twist and wrap. Then I use the hairpin to hold it. When you use the hairpin, be sure to pin deep. That will hold it in place.

I have fine shoulder length hair. the only way I could wear this is if I had an elastic in my hair also. This defeats the purpose. I wouldn't recommend this unless you have thick hair. It would just slide down or off on my fine hair. It is nicely made though.

Love this Hair Pin, sorry that's what I call them, I am a little disappointed that mine came with a slight flaw. Only because I loved what it looked like online and was looking forward to it arriving. I think it's extra glue, but it looks like the stick broke and they tried to glue it back together! Might seem minor, but you buy something that's what u expect, but might have been an oversight

I used to wear this style hair clip when I was in high school and college and had waist length fine hair. Now have shoulder length fine hair and had found it difficult to clip it up off my neck. Found this on Amazon and it still does the trick! My granddaughters think they're pretty awesome so I'll be ordering more. Thank you!

i use this product almost everyday. i love how it holds hair up.

Great for a half up but then again my hair is particularly thick and coarse. I can use it for a bun or pony tail if I use an elastic. Love it!
