Sun and Rain Canopy for Inflatable Boats by Sea Eagle Boats

This little top would be perfect, but when up, it gets in the way of paddling. It was solid, good quality, however, we ended up returning it as it wasn't practical for us as we like to paddle and that was almost impossible when the canopy was up.

Well made canopy

Works fine on our Intex Excursion 5 when mounted in the fishing pole holders (either on the bow for passengers, or the stern for the pilot - guess you could even get two), and then extending the straps fore and aft to hook to your grab line or the eyes meant for ropes.There's no doubt this is a high quality product with several ways to mount to boats, and it's going to provide us years of enjoyment and shade/rain protection. However, assembly and determining exactly how to use with your boat is the most disappointing part. You have to be careful when assembling the u-shaped poles in the canopy, because the Y-shaped support frame has fits into holes that have to be the right direction. I found one video online that wasn't very helpful, so I do believe the company should provide better instructions.

Easy to assemble

Used this boat last Fall/winter at a Lake, it was fun & relaxing- just wish we were camped closer to the waters edge so we didn't have to carry the boat as far but next time we'll be prepared, plan to extend my bike cart to roll it over to the shoreline.
