BallQube Grandstand Football Display Case with UV Protection, Memorabilia and Autograph Holder Cube Protects and Showcases Official Size Ball or Smaller

I located this item on Amazon after being unable to find a similar product locally. Our son received a full-size, high school regulation football that was embroidered for his Senior-Night recognition and we wanted a UV resistant case to protect and display his keepsake. This case arrived in perfect condition and was well packaged to prevent any scratches or cracks. There was a small pedestal in the bottom of the case to “cup” the bottom of the football, to prevent it from rolling around in the case and to keep the football in the correct position for display. The bottom doesn’t drop out, it is attached to the side panel and cannot be detached. Don’t try to just pry out the bottom or force it apart or you WILL crack the case. Study the sides of the case and you will easily see how it slides apart in two halves and how the two halves “snap” together. Once you’ve positioned the football in the cup and slide both sides back together it will snap closed, making a sturdy display cube. To save extra time and frustration, make sure you don’t touch the insides of the display or leave any fingerprints, so you don’t have to reopen the case to clean the insides!

Great to display, order several one did end up cracking

Perfect for displaying our signed footballs.

I’ve ordered 3 of these cases to protect autographed footballs. I like the look of the case with the black base and it has done a good job of protecting my footballs. However, all 3 cases have arrived with at least a couple imperfections (scratches or chips) in the clear portion of the case. Also, it was difficult to figure out how to open the case the first time I purchased one. It took me a few minutes, because the case does not come with instructions. I think a better design would be to have the top clear part snap on and off the base. Another small complaint is that even though the case arrives in a box and plastic wrapped, it is covered in dust/small fibers. It’s annoying trying to make sure you’ve completely cleaned the case before setting it up for display. Overall, a good product and worth the money you paid - could use some improvements in quality control though.

Lets face it....plexisglass is super easy to scratch. I ordered one of these and it came scratched. I requested an exchange and it was quickly sent out. When the second one arrived, I noticed it was carefully wrapped in shrink plastic and had packing around it to keep it from bouncing around. The second one was not scratched. I'm assuming what happened was someone ordered the display, and while putting it together, was not careful when assembling the pieces and let it drift and scratch the sides. They returned it and care wasn't taken to inspect it before sending it back out. Lame business practices on the seller. That said, when assembling, wear gloves, lay the pieces on a soft surface and take your time to carefully mate the two pieces together fully. Once it is together, it's great. I'll be making a small light to shine on the ball to illuminate the details.

Great product

First order arrived damaged, but I received a replacement right away and it was awesome. My husband loves it. Would help if there were some instructions on how to open it. It's a little tricky. Pulls apart by sliding in half, slowly. But his Buffalo Bill's Football fits perfectly inside of it. Looks very elegant.

This is the second of these that I have purchased. I use them to protect and display footballs signed by a college football team. The footballs were given to me by a player for whom my wife and I are sort of second parents. Needless to say, these footballs are very special lo me and I want to keep them for a long time. Putting the footballs into the cases was very easy and they look nice. These are not the fanciest cases or the most expensive, but they are doing a good job of protecting the footballs in them. I am very happy with this purchase. I will definitely buy another if I get another football.
