Can the speakers handle a 1000 watt amp

Depends on the head unit and what type of equalizer you have .

Can these handle a 2400 watt amp?

I have a 2000watt amp on these and I blew one of the subs so I would say 2400 is too much

Can this box, accommodate other types of subwoofers? I was thinking of alpines r subwoofer.

It can but it defeats the purpose of the box.
