Works well

Had in the box for a few weeks - finally got around to installing it and it worked good for 2 days (at the most). Then it would only work some of the time - reprogrammed it a couple of times and then finally, it just wouldn't work at all and we could not even lock the door manually or get in to the house! Took the lock off and packaged to return it only to be told it had been 33 days since I had it and the maximum return window was 30 days...really? Guess I will go to Lowes or Home Depot from now on! I buy a lot from Amazon and I am just so disappointed in this.Do NOT buy this product - I do have one from Kwik Set that works great...this one is HORRIBLE!!!

On my second one because the first went bad after a two years in service. Had to replace with the same because my door trim was milled to accept this shape. Prior to going totally bad had incidents of it ceasing up requiring partial dis-assembly. The also lock gets confused sometimes about lock or unlock status when you manually lock it from the inside. Then person outside must lock it electronically in order to be able to unlock it electronically.

It was very easy to install and it looks great also. It’s very easy to use and offers great protection against unwanted visitors.

An excellent product that works exactly as stated. The instructions could be better, but it was easy to figure out how to install regardless. I ordered several of them, and one came with two broken wires, but phone support is excellent and the part was quickly replaced free of charge.

Great Product. Works as advertised.Update: MiLocks sent new parts out quickly, great company.Update 2: Broke again after normal use. This time company does no seem to care. Stay with the big companies.Update 3 12/5/2017- Sent out parts and was able to fix lock. Quality is just not here with this product, however customer service is well above average.

Pros: Allows a 2 digit PIN when other locks insist on 4 or even 11 digit PIN. There are reasons other than security why it's okay to use 2 digit PIN, I am glad this company allowed a 2 digit PIN.Cons:-Buttons are too small-Can't add codes without a screw driver. That's not useful.-To add a code you have to press on a button labeled C, why C? Confusing! Why not A for ADD?-To remove a code you have to press on a button labeled S, why S? Confusing! Why not R for REMOVE?-You need a screw driver to switch auto lock ON/OFFIn my case, strangely some numbers do not work, so I have to select PINs without using those numbers.

When I started installing the lock I found that the knob stuck. I installed it hoping the electronic lock would be strong enough to move the knob to the neutral position. Not only did this not happen but the door would not unlock.I requested an exchange lock from Amazon. Just put it in and it appears to work so far. As for the working lock I do agree with those who say it is loud when it locks. Also it takes a long time to auto lock.UPDATE: I RECEIVED the replacement lock from Amazon on WEDNESDAY and installed it the same day. BY SUNDAY THE LOCK WAS BUSTED. It appears if you push down on the knob when it is locked it will overcome the lock and allow the knob to turn and stick in the open position. The door knob will no longer lock after this. I highly suggest you do not buy this lock or at least not use it on an outside door. It is NOT SECURE.
