Buzzy Injection Pain Relief Device for IVF, Vaccines & Injections, Black

I have a needle phobia, and it’s very hard for me to have bloodwork or injections done because I panic and try to pull away from the nurse. I saw this online, and decided to give it a try. What makes the buzzy effective is the combination of the coldness from the ice pack, and the vibration from the device. I went to my blood draw, and the nurse already was familiar with how to use it. She held it in position to where she planned on drawing from my arm, for maybe a minute or two. I was surprised when after a few minutes she announced “okay we’re all done and you’re set to go!” I hadn’t felt hardly anything during the blood draw! It worked well for me, and I’m hoping that after he becomes more familiar that it will help my toddler son with shots at the doctor’s office and when he needs blood work as well. If you’re an adult that struggles with blood work or have a child who struggles, definitely give this a try!

Being an older woman and receiving injections for my bones, I discovered that the injections I receive are very painful. It isn't the needle, but the actual medication entering my body that burns so much. A nurse at the infusion center told me about Buzzy, so I ordered one. The first time I used it, we didn't use it correctly. It still helped a little, but I wasn't totally impressed. When I received my injection two days ago, I had watched a YouTube video and was ready to try it again. This time I followed the instructions more accurately. Wow! What a difference it made! I would like to encourage ladies of any age, who are receiving injections that are painful, purchase a BUZZY! My arm, which usually stayed sore for about a week, was not sore at all!!! So, my message is simple, BUZZY is not just for kids! Adults can benefit from it also! So, take the plunge and buy BUZZY! You will not be sorry!

This seems to help during the IVF process. Had to get a good number of injections for the egg stimulation phase. Places this on the belly and the pain seemed less than without it. I wish the icepacks stayed frozen and cool for longer. Very simple idea but great that it does do something.

We bought this for our aon foe regular injections. This actually does a great job of numbing a site limiting the pain, preasure from an injection.

Didn’t seem to need this. The shots are so quick it seems a bit pointless for us. Drags out the mental process of receiving a shot which wasn’t helpful for my 11 year old. It is good quality and vibrates appropriately. Just not suitable for our needs.

This purchase was a huge disappointment. This product is very expensive, delivers absolutely no results, and is very low quality. The vibration is so faint through the ice pads that you can't feel it enough to desensitize the area or distract you. We had purchased this for our autistic daughter's first blood test and really wanted it to work, but it's a hard no. I suggest other parents look elsewhere, or, if you are purchasing this anyway, do so well in advance of the blood test so you can test it with your child first. If it doesn't work for you, with your doctor's permission, try a skin-numbing cream (like what's used during tattoos), or consider using rotating ice globes and a handheld rumbly body massager instead, where you have more control over speed, intensity, and location. That's what we'll be doing for now. Save your money!

The ice pack was nice, I kept it in a metal water bottle and they were still frozen by the time I needed it. The vibration is very strong in your hand, but I didn't feel it that much on my arm. It also was a bit difficult to hold, since the strap couldn't get tight enough. I could see how this could help for subq injections, or even less painful shots. But it is not nearly sufficient for the meningitis vaccines. I did not feel a difference with or without it. I probably would like it for allergy testing, but the vibration is just very minimal.

Works great for my son’s allergy shots. We use it for a few minutes before and after the shot, and he says it helps with pain. It also has a good calming effect on him. It’s small and easy to use. We have actually ordered two now as he has to get more shots at once, but the one we ordered 2 years ago (same brand) is still going strong! Just had to order more ice packs as we have lost some.

Perfect for adult with needle phobia

Dieses Teil ist winzig und vibriert nicht besonders stark. Für 20 € würde ich es mir eingehen lassen, aber 95 € ist dafür verrückt. Wollte meinem Mann die Chemo-Behandlungen erleichtern, aber da kann er sich genau so gut eine elektrische Zahnbürste neben seinen Port halten. Die bringt wahrscheinlich mehr. Wird zurück geschickt.
