I love cooking with these, really great flavours. My live-long friend from the Sudan would cook Fava beans with a little olive oil, chopped onion, garlic and a sprinkle of roasted cumin seeds. Separately he would crush a couple of these dried bird peppers in a tiny bowl, adding the juice of a lemon or lime. Serve the Fava beans with warm pitta bread, add a teaspoon of the crushed pepper and lime juice. Wonderful food.

As a chilli fanatic I can highly recommend these dried chillies. I have been using the ones from supermarkets and these are a very different affair. They pack a punch whilst having a great flavour too. I like they aren’t packaged in plastic. Delivery was swift and on time. Well pleased.

what a waste of money. used 3 - 4 in one dish and not even a little bit mild never mind hot. they were no good at all .. so down in the bin they went .very disappointed, 1 star only because arrived very quickly. i uploaded few pictures to show the difference from my last good one.

Made a con carne ., my wife likes mild so I put in 3 chilies, and added a fourth to my portion. No chilli heat detected. This was a 4 portion serving so for the next 2 servings I added 7( yes 7) as its only for me who likes it hot. Still no discernable hotness. Can't return so going in the bin.
