Terrific pasta
This brown rice fettucine is terrific. I boiled a small amount for 2 mins, then let it sit covered (off the burner) for 8 mins. It cooked to a cream colored, completely different from the brown uncooked color. This is my very healthy, forever fettucine. It's gluten free, void of white rice or white flour. It has a wonderful texture and can be used for so many different pasta recipes.

Best Gluten Free Pastas for Everyday Use
If you dont want to make multiple pots of pasta Tinkyada is good enough to serve to both gf and wheat eaters. Its a bit more expensive than some brands but prepared correctly it is good texture and flavor. I boil water, add salt, bring back to rolling boil, stir pasta into water to prevent clumping, and turn off the burner letting it sit for 7-11 mins depending on desired tenderness and shape of pasta.

I really like this rice pasta the best. It is flavorful and has the most wheat pasta-like consistency since going gluten-free. I can find a cheaper supermarket brand which is easier to find but I have to come back to this one.

This pasta is fantastic. The best tasting and has the best mouth feel of any gluten free pasta I've ever tried. It is unfortunate that most stores don't carry it any more. I wonder if that is the packaging for only the fettucini. It arrived in a cardboard box that was partially open at one end and somewhat crushed. The other varieties are packed in plastic wrappers. I am wondering if this is older product that was left on the shelf and all that is still available for shipping to USA . I was thrilled to get it even at the high price of $9.00 per pkg. How can I find out what's actually going on with their wonderful products?
