Mandelic Topical Acid 12%

As a retired esthetician, I’m super critical when it comes to product results. This serum is AMAZING! It really delivers! I use it on my skin, which is in pretty good condition and have already seen and felt results after only one week. I also have my husband use it, who suffers from sun damage and face and scalp, and his results are even better. The top of his head, yes he’s bald, is much smoother and the hp is already noticeably lighter. (Having said all of this, we have used serums and resurfaces, so don’t have dead skin buildup. I also use “Prequel “ on him prior to this serum to remove any surface oils.). Highly recommend this product!

Changed my skin texture overnight. I was shocked. I have been dealing with small bumps on my forehead for months. Cleaned makeup brushes, tried retinols, azelaic acid, stopped wearing makeup to try and clear my skin. Put this on last night and woke up with almost zero bumps on my forehead and the most beautiful glow to my skin. I couldn’t believe it! 10/10 recommend and will be a part of my skincare routine going forward.

Im giving this 5 stars, despite the unpleasant odor bc it was extremely effective after one use! I must admit I was disappointed bc this specific serum was listed as an “at home chemical peel” but is really just a serum that you slap on and move about your day. No peeling or washing off required. I was apprehensive before purchase bc I read so many bad reviews complaining about the “strong cinnamon odor that’s so bad”. I was expecting a stinky punch in the face, but I didn’t get that. It’s more of a wafting, vague unpleasant odor. I’d describe it like “hmm I don’t smell anything bad” and then *sniff sniff* “what smell is that? I can’t place it. Is it this stuff?” It’s almost like a dried glue smell… That said, my partner told me “your forehead looks smoother”, and she was right. I used it the last 2 nights in a row and only had a very mild burning sensation, like sunburn. Definitely worth it for the price alone, and the effectiveness. Best $20 I’ve ever spent on serums tbh. For those interested: I have KP which gives my cheeks a bumpy texture; mild wrinkles mainly on my forehead (35yo ww) and dry skin in my t-zone. My skin is noticeably softer and smoother. I’ll update if this changes!

I ordered this to compare to another Mandelic acid I ordered (also) on Amazon. This product contains 12% mandelic acid. I use this for treatments of sun spots, minor wrinkles, and any surface imperfections. The package arrived quickly and in safe packaging. This is the second time I have ordered this product. There are not many selections for facial products that contain mandelic acid online. I am a male and have slightly oily skin. I have used this product for several months now and can see that it produces positive results when used properly. It is important to note that when using any acidic product on your face that it will remove a slight layer of skin as part of the intended process to rejuvenate the skin. During this rejuvenation process it is important to protect the treated areas with sunblock and avoid UV exposure. If you do not protect your skin during this process you can sustain redness and burning. Over application of this product can also cause sensitivity and redness. Applying this directly to blemishes produces rather immediate results (within a few days). I apply this product at night, after washing my face with a clean wash cloth and warm water. After I apply it, I leave it on overnight. In the morning I wash it off and apply Vitamin C oil, Jojoba oil, and Vitamin E cream. This combination has worked very well. I would have marked this 5 stars however the smell of the product is the reason I have marked it down a star. It has a unpleasant cinnamon smell, I can only describe it as the smell of a bad breath sneeze on your face. Cinnamon is probably the most unpleasant smell one could apply to their skin, I would prefer it to smell of mint or nothing at all. Regardless ...this product is effective and produces positive results. I would recommend this to others.

This is a great product. I need to exfoliate daily due to being on tretinoin but my usual AHA/BHA toner has proven to be way too harsh for daily use. My skin barrier is finally healing without having to endure skin flakiness.

My Esthetician suggested using mandelic acid. She told me about the Naturium product and I have been using it for a few months now. It gently exfoliates your skin. It is mild, but still heavy duty. This is someone speaking who does not have overly sensitive skin. I can’t speak to those who do have sensitive skin, they would have to ask their doctor. I will admit I have also had some rough spots on my body that I’ve used the mandelic acid on, and it does gently exfoliate those areas too. This is likely my third bottle of this Mandela acid, and I will continue to purchase this product.

This feels great on the skin~it really helps to clarify if you have any hyperpigmentation. There is peeling so just be mindful of that but effective so I would recommend it:)
