Tumbl Trak Adjustable Home Jr Kip Bar, Gymnastics Training Bar for Home and Gym

We chose the Tumble Track Jr Kip Bar for our daughter to practice her skills safely at home. I am a parent who coached gymnastics for many years and wanted a high quality bar for my daughter at home. She loves the color (green!), and really enjoys playing on her bar throughout the day making up routines and hanging around. This bar is everything I expected from a Tumble Track product. It is sturdy and solid when my daughter does back hip circles, mill circles and routines. The whole set was easy to put together and only took a few minutes. The rounded corners are a detail that feels safe and is appreciated in our smaller space. The knobs are sturdy and well constructed, making it easy to adjust the bar height. The wood portion of this bar us very smooth and strong, no sanding or chalk needed out of the box. Overall, this is a fantastic, stable and safe beginner to intermediate bar. Perfect for pullovers, hip circles, mill circles, etc. We also purchased the base extensions for added stability when our daughter builds up to more glides and kips. If you are considering a home bar, I highly recommend this one for the quality construction and fantastic customer service. Your kid will love it!!

We purchased this for my 6 year olds birthday and she loves it. She is 45" and 46 lbs for reference. The bar is sturdy, it's not going to break. I've been able to use it (weight limit started 125lbs) and it is solid. It is easy to adjust the bar as well as to take the bar out. My only complaint is that we're going to need the plywood and/or extenders soon but she's not even to the point where that's recommended but when she does a big swing it does slide on the floor and bang around a bit. I wish they made a mat that could go under it but customer service just recommended some generic tiles made of foam. There is a newer bar available you don't need extenders for but I have read that it's less sturdy than this one so for the longevity we choose those one knowing we would need the extenders eventually. Overall I'm happy, I just wish the extenders came with it as well as a mat for underneath it all.

My daughter uses this every single day. She's 2 years old and has NOT been to gymnastics (yet), she has been practicing on this bar for about 6 months. We purchased a 2" mat to help with falls. I wish I had gone with a 4" mat, and probably will upgrade to one later on this year. (Although it's not necessary. My daughter has not hurt herself at all.) It was a little expensive, but definitely worth every penny. Additionally, we had our 11 year old neice come over and raised the bar for her. She had no problems flipping around and had a blast with it. This bar will be used for years and years.

We have a gymnastics enthusiast, age eight, with a lot of excess energy and decided to take a chance on this, considering it's pretty spendy. Well, it has seen constant use. First stop after school, then as a reward after homework. Whenever The Boy gets wound up it's down to the basement for a session. Has been months and he has not tired of this at all. It is not a novelty item or something that gets played with and then pushed into a corner. Worth every penny. It was easy to assemble. The fit and finish was fine and all of the pieces went together smoothly. Enclosed tool made short work of bolts. It's heavy duty and shows no strain or weakness when being used actively. No rocking and completely stable. Height adjustment is easy and the locking mechanism is solid and heavy duty. The wood bar is durable and solid. All in all this was one of the best presents we've ever gotten.

The bar itself is well constructed, heavy duty. My 7-year old weighs about 46 lbs and just made team. She wanted a way to practice front hip circles and mill circles - so i ordered this with the extensions. The wood that the bar is made out of is not super smooth - we have chalked it, but it still feels rough - I am afraid we have many rips yet to come! The entire apparatus does move when she is doing her circles, but it does not try to tip over and it does not feel unstable. Bottom line, she loves having a bar in the house that she can jump up on any time. After having it in the house for a couple days, her coach chased me down to tell me she had her mill circles! (I deleted my remark about shipping because that will soon be forgotten and the product itself is good)

We have three kids on the spectrum. After the kids broke a minitrampoline by spinning around the handle it had we decided to get a proper gymnastics bar for them to spin on. None of the kids use it for its intended purpose. Indeed I didn't even know what a kip was until my niece came over one day and demonstrated kips for us. My kids use it to spin upside down, to hang upside down, to balance on top of on their bellies, to hang from, to swing from with their hands... Basically they use it however they need to to satisfy their need for different types of movement. We've had no injuries with it except for daddy's stubbed toes as he clumsily stumbles past it. It has gotten daily use since we got it four years ago. It's also a favorite with children who visit. As my children grow I've easily raised the bar on my own. If it broke tomorrow I'd be on here buying a replacement tomorrow night.

You can view my video to see the bar in action during a practice session at home. I LOVE IT! I bought this bar so my daughter could practice at home. After a few months of practicing at home SHE MADE THE TEAM! This bar is great! We are very pleased and the assembly was very easy. My daughter is 8 and she is about 60 lbs. I set the bar up upstairs in our bonus room so she can practice more. You will need the plywood to stabilize it for advanced skills and dismounts. If you try a dismount or a back hip circle without something heavy like plywood at the base it will wobble. I have a 4x8 piece of sub-floor ply wood along the base of the bar - I DID NOT get the extensions - and the bar does not wobble at all on my daughter. She does basic pull overs, front and back hip circles, stride circles, casts, full straddle on pike and under swing dismounts without issue.

My little gymnasts LOVE this! L-O-V-E! They are 5 years old and 3 years old. The lowest setting is a wee bit too high yet for my littlest one to work on casting, but she can easily skin the cat and work on strengthening exercises. My 5 year old is perfecting her casting and some other basic skills. I've noticed a big improvement in her form and comfort with the bar. We don't have the extended base and it is perfectly sturdy, for now. Just a warning, safety rules often need enforced and reinforced, sometimes they act more like monkeys than little gymnastics :)

Great quality product. Very sturdy and easy to adjust the height. I recommend putting some foam tiles on the floor underneath the bars as it will scratch the floors. My daughters use these bars everyday and love them. They are well worth the money.

Excellent bar, daughter is an up and coming gymnast and finds this bar very supportive and challenging. strong and well made, its very stable as it is adjusted high or low. I think its a fantastic piece. well recommended. reliable and safe.

So far this bar is great. My nine year old daughter loves it. We did need to order the extensions as the bar was sliding on our workout room flooring. It seemed stable enough but with the extensions it won't slide.
