It's obvious Interstate is above and beyond any other batteries of this model. I've tried so many supposed high rated brands for over 20yrs that totally sucked and failed relatively quickly, especially if not used continuously. I use it for a mini PA speaker. They hold up very well even when depleted. I think interstate should send me another one free for this truly honest advertising plug. This is NOT a paid review. They ARE the best durable battery in this particular model. The brand name says it all.

The red light on my Verizon FIOS unit came in early November. The red light indicated that the backup for the phone during power outages would not work. The instructions on the Verizon website said that any 12-volt 7.2Ah SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) battery would work. I looked at lithium batteries with the same power and size, but there were no reviews reporting using them with Verizon FIOS, so I went with the safe choice, selecting this Interstate Lead Pack. The battery has been installed for a month and working fine. How long it will last is not known at this point. The only difficulty was getting the old battery out. To release, one had to press two levels on the side of the old battery; they were extremely tight. I had to use two large screwdrivers to force the levels to release the battery. Update: January 2024. I had an 8 hour power outage and was able to use my FIOS phone line throughout on the backup power from this battery. This was ordered as a replacement battery for our security system. The old battery had corroded the hookups, so I had to clean those before we hooked up the new battery. It was a quick, easy push-in-place installation. I'm not sure if it was due to our system or if the battery needed a better charge, but the security system power light still flashed and beeped occasionally until the next morning after installation of the new battery. Then it "settled in" and has been working without a beep. This was six weeks ago. I am very pleased with the price and quality of this battery.

Verizon’s original battery lasted about 2 years; the first replacement from here lasted about 5 years; the second replacement failed after 1 year. This fits and installs easily; I did have to bend the contacts a little to slide the clips on properly. Longevity? Time will tell.

The battery arrived in four days - three days before the ETA. That was nice. The battery itself seems sound. Of course, as with any battery, longevity and service life is a big factor in the value of the item. This Interstate battery was priced below the competition in my search. I typically get 3 to 4 years of service from these 12V 8Ah batteries. Time will tell if the lower price translates into value.

I'm so glad I was able to purchase these batteries for my mom's stairlift. No issues thus far.

Interstate batteries work great. I use these on my security gate and they usually last about a year or two.

Battery lasted 3 months , and shorted out between the cells , interstate only has a 30 day warranty, i would not buy another interstate battery , i replaced it with a Duracell W- 2 year warranty

I have connected this replacement battery to an old CyberPower 525SL UPS and it has worked flawlessly now for a few months - We have had several power outages, which is often the case in my area, and this battery has certainly paid for itself. Well recommended.

This is a great savings for anyone with a security system. These batteries sell for over $40.00 normally and you need to drive to larger cities to buy them. Very happy with purchase & savings.
