Comes in different & inferior container
This is an excellent product both for wound cleansing and for antisepsis. It is pricey, but would be worth the cost IF it came in the container pictured. Mine came in a plastic spray bottle with a unique and inferior spray mechanism that is difficult to depress and awkward, at best, to position and aim at one’s target. This is the reason for 3 stars rather than five. While I am looking for a sterile container with a good spray mechanism into which I can transfer the liquid, I am forced now to spray it on pieces of sterile gauze and wipe the wound with that. This not only increases the cost of the wound care, but also does not dislodge any debris, which is the great advantage of a easily worked spray. I would certainly prefer that it come in the container pictured. Until I am assured that I will receive it in the preferred container, I will not purchase it again. And for that reason, alone, I cannot recommend it.

Based on Cost, most likely will not re order
*** Disclaimer*** Read at your own risk....This a bleach based wound would cleaning solution.... It actually dates back to World War I. Search on Google for Dakin's Solution. You can find government web sites that tell you have to make it. You can also order it (Dakin's solution) off amazon. When the box arrived you could smell the bleach. It works. It is just over priced. If I was working for a business I may be ok with the price, but for personal use, I will look at making my own. if you do go the make your own route, you should read more... for example bleach needs to be stored in a bottle that is not see through or it looses its effectiveness.

Beneficial to wound healing!
As a diabetic with some wounds on both legs, I change my dressings daily and go to a wound care center once a week. This product is part of my healing process. After my legs are cleaned and prior to wrapping both legs, Anasept is applied. Very beneficial and most important, approved by the medical staff at the wound care center I go to. Highly recommend this product.

Trigger Spray Anti-Septic
Pros: Trigger spray anti septic means gives you an extra hand to work with and quick application. This will disinfect a large area to prevent migration of bacteria from the surrounding skin into the wound. No unpleasant odors; smells like salt water. Spray action means that you don't have to worry about bacteria or foreign objects entering the container.Cons: Spray covers a large area and makes adhesive bandages less sticky. Self adhesive bandages tend to work better in combination with gauze.Edit 11/14/2011: completely rewritten.

Great For EMS
I'm an EMT working various Volunteer events for charity events such as the Revlon Walk of LA, in which this item got its first taste of action! everyone was coming into the first aid booths from falling...it was scrapped knee3s and elbows galore! I love this product cause its more controlled use in a sprayer then using small sealed bottles of sterile water or saline. and for the price you really cant go wrong on this one.

Sprayer not included
This item arrived and did not include the sprayer as pictured. I’d purchased this same one previously and it included it then. Luckily I had the sprayer from then.

Anasept
This was recommended to me by nurses and it smells like bleach for people and works. I would never have heard of it if it wasn't for the medical staff and I am glad to have some on hand for antiseptic purposes. Having it in a spray bottle makes it easy to sanitize a wounded area. Would buy this again.
