I searched a long time for non-flickering flame-less candles and discovered that they are nearly impossible to find. When I came across these I was thrilled. Fortunately they are indeed non-flickering, and they are perfect. They give off a beautiful warm glow, are easy to turn on/off, and are great for many purposes (decoration, nightlights for bedroom or bathroom, travel book-light, travel nightlight, romantic lighting, etc). Even when they are turned off, they still are very pretty. These are worth every penny. A great purchase. I highly recommend these.

As a renter, I tend to shy away from burning real candles, so I am always looking for Unique Flameless Votive Candles to set the mood.This Set of 12, Battery Operated LED Tealights add the ambiance I am seeking without worry of burning down my landlord's villa.Each 1 1/4" tall x 1 3/8" wide Non Flickering Candle features a Realistic Dripped Wax Appearance.The soft silicone "Flame" portion which encases the LED bulb is 1/2" tall and puts out a nice amount of "candlelight".Akashic Gems has already installed the CR-2032 Battery needed to operate each candle, so the Complete Dozen is ready to use upon opening the box. All I needed to do was arrange them on my dresser and move the button located on the bottom of each candle to the on position. The set of 12 battery operated "Tea Lite Candles" are so pretty when lit in a dark room. The candles are easy to turn on and off with a simple small black button on the bottom of the candle. I did not have to do anything to the candle other than take it out of the box and turn it on and instant light. The candles made a nice ambiance in my bathroom on the tub. You can use just a couple of all of them, depending how much light you want. I also used them as a center piece for a candle lit dinner with my husband and we found the lighting to be very romantic using all 12 of the candles. I liked knowing that if I walked away and left them lit that I did not have the worries of a wax candle. Also they are a better choice when using around young children as you would not have the worries of them getting burnt when accidentally touched. The candles also looked really nice clustered together in a bowl. I liked how they helped set my mood for relaxation when I just wanted a bit of light. The candles can be used individually, in a set of 2, or in a set of any amount you like up to the whole set of twelve.Get romantic and set these out along the bathtub or bedside. If you want just a soft night time glow like I often like. I bought a pretty tray and set them out on the coffee table. When it is nighttime I switch the candles on. It is a such a soft glow and no harsh lights. The candles are very lightweight and they have the look of a candle with wax dripping down the side giving it a more authentic candle look. There is a little lamp in the middle of the candle to resemble a flame, and reminds me of a tiny Christmas light bulb when lit, but the lamp has a unique look to it with a slanted tip. These flameless battery operated candles are pretty cool. When in complete darkness, they actually illuminate a lot and look very pretty.The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I wish they wouldn't be so white; like plastic white. If it was a bit off white or cream color, they wouldn't look so plastic. It's just a personal preference. They do look great when on, yellow like a candle light. I just wanted something that would resemble a candle color more when it's not turned on.I have just moved and my decoration is not up yet, but i have some tea candle holders that go on the wall, as well as some small table candelabra, and I can't wait to see how they will look on it.The light of a candle is very soothing and relaxing, making your environment peaceful and comforting. Well, that is true if you can light a candle; in my case, I had to almost give up on it because I have cats inside, and my furry kids are as curious as they come, and investigate anything and everything around the house; and of course, stuff ends up on the floor and played with... Not a good idea to have real candles with cats....This flameless set will give me the soothing light of a candle without the danger of getting my house caught on fire.This set comes with 12 candles and each operates individually on a 3V battery, making it great to split them wherever you like. I haven't left them on for too long, so, I'm not sure how long the battery lasts, but you can buy them at dollar tree for $1.For such a tiny light, it actually illuminates quite a bit, and the yellow light is very close to a tea candle light on an amber glass.Very nice set to have for those intimate dinners, to set the mood for a nice cozy night and relax your mind, or for emergencies, when the power goes out and you just need enough to not stumble on the walls. Lol!Overall, a nice set to have or gift someone. Also great if you're a party planner, wedding decorator, or massage therapist. Sets up a really nice ambiance.Although I've received this product discounted, my opinions are true to the uses I've put it through.
