Brilliant.
This review is for the Lighthouse Mini and the Lighthouse Flash. I wanted camping/power backup lighting that's bright (but not blue-white), rechargeable, reliable, long-lasting, and easy to use. On all these counts and far more, these two products deliver, and the value is outstanding. I'm glad I came across Goal Zero products.Lighthouse Mini: Clearly a lot of thought and care went into R&D on this gem. I love its size, it's cool look, its weight, its flexibility, its brightness and adjustability, the color temp (which I'd describe as "daylight" or midrange in the LED temp spectrum, like 3000k), and its rugged design. Even in half-on mode it's bright enough to read, and the battery is super long-lasting. The opaque shade is wonderful because it keeps the intense LEDs from being too blinding. I've purchased this light for several friends as well as for myself.Lighthouse Flash: This is the brightest small flashlight I've ever seen. I almost wish the sides were opaque like the shade on the Mini, but it's great that it can also function as a lantern. As with the Mini, the design is well thought-out, with great features. For example, the switch is recessed so that the light won't accidentally turn on while in your bag. As far as I can tell, the battery isn’t replaceable, so I hope it holds many recharges for years to come.

Better than a Candle
Handy device to have for power outages. Can be used to recharge cphones and can be recharged several ways which makes it very useful. Emergency light, light for your campsite. Not built for rough handling but I have one that is 8 years old and looks and works like new. Convenient, no worries about storing or refueling with flammable liquids. Variable levels of light is quite nice and conserved power for longer use between charges.

Best compact lantern I own.
This is a very, very good overall lantern in a nice compact size.Pros:- Very bright and good light spread. These feel more like 350 lumen lamps with how much light output there is. The lamp housing is diffused, so you don't get harsh shadows in the tent. Nice touch.- Easy to use. Turn dial left for one half of lamp to be illuminated. Turn dial right for full illumination.- Dial also adjusts brightness.- Warm white light, very easy on the eyes.- Clear battery indicator.- Flip down stand significantly raises the lamp on a surface and provides a good boost in light spread.- Hook on top of lamp makes it easy to hang it inside your tent or canopy.- Magnet on bottom for that added utility and mounting options.- Great battery life for the size and light output. I got roughly 4 hours on full brightness with a significant increase in life after dimming it down slightly.- Daisy-chain charging. You can plug the lights into one-another and as long as one is plugged into a constant power source, they will all charge up at the same time. Pretty neat.Cons:- Charge time. These take 3.5 hours to charge up. That feels like quite a bit for how small these are.- No USB-C. This is barely a con and a very nit-picky thing, but USB-C would've been nice to see on these since everything is switching over to that platform and that could allow for some faster charging times.

Small and dependable
This lantern is great. I brought it in 2021. Used it a couple times when we originally purchased it but for the last 2 years it's been sitting in a cabinet with no use. We lost our electric last night in a wind storm. When I pulled out the lantern I was amazed that it was still almost fully charged. It's very compact but still lights up the whole room.

This little bugger is a hands down knock out of the park item
I use this fabulous mini lantern for night fishing on creeks for trout. I just use half the side and with just enough power to eat, drink, change lures or flies or minnows. Simple to turn on/off and use dimmer/bright knob. Controls are large, easy to find and work in the dark. Light weight and has collapsible legs to raise lantern height or balance on uneven ground. This little jewel can be made so bright it would spook trout for 100 feet. It also has USB to charge from computer or printer...no messing with heavy batteries and carrying spares. Cool bright white. Glass is frosted. I am 80 years of age and have been night fishing for 65 years and this is above and beyond the best light once I set up my mini camp at a selected pool or two. Fits easily in vest, creel or small back pack. An overnight hiker will love this item....and be a great item to carry in your vehicle. Again, one of the beauties is you can just turn on half the lantern....no light in your eyes, no light in the pool and no shadows cast. Go buy one, can't go wrong.

Spendy, but I know where the money went
Battery life is good and it's bright for a lantern-style lamp. The first two battery bars seem to last quite some time but the last two seem to go quicker. After several charging cycles, the battery seems to retain a good charge, as any good product should. The soft white color temperature looks good. Not too high and not too low. CRI seems good, as I don't see anything that looks off-color. Works great for power outages for at least medium-sized rooms.
