A Halloween Treat.
When I ordered the popcorn I liked the fact that it was nostalgia and my favorite, but when I popped the first one it did not rise all the way like on the package seal. That was okay because it served it's purpose, it was used for a Halloween treat.

What a great idea for a gift!
I wanted to send a birthday gift to my grandson’s fiancé’. While wondering what to give her I remembered that she loves watching movies. Popcorn! I thought about the fun I experienced making Jiffy Pop popcorn-holding the long metal handle attached to the container and sliding it back and forth across the stove burner, continuing until the popcorn had expanded the container into a large silver dome! I could hardly wait to tear into the bag and eat what always turned out to be buttery and delicious! Maybe she would enjoy this experience too, so I sent the birthday girl 6 containers of Jiffy Pop stove top popcorn. Later that week she called me to thank me for the gift after she had made some of the popcorn and consumed it. From the enthusiasm in her voice I could tell that she really liked this gift which was inexpensive and conveniently ordered from my home but shipped to hers in another part of the country. Judging by the fact that I am still waiting for a “thank you” for the seventy five dollar lime green, pink, and orange striped dress shoes I sent her for her birthday last year, I believe she really did like this one!

Great For Family Movie Nights - Just Be Aware Of Dented/Warped Pan Bottoms
4 of the 5 pans were perfect. My family enjoyed them immensely. The only complaint I have is that 1 of the pans was dented so badly on the bottom that while it was cooking, the foil ripped at the seam and popcorn and kernels flew out of it causing quite a ruckus in my kitchen when they landed on the hot burner. I wasn't able to finish cooking that one but we salvaged as much of it as we could. I recommend the sellers ensure the pans aren't warped or bent before you ship them. Otherwise, this is a great product and brought back fond memories of growing up in the 1980's and watching my mom cook these over the stove for our Family Movie Nights.

Tasty and Fun Nostalgia
I purchased these on Amazon when I saw they were available and at the best price yet. As soon as I saw the picture I remembered the 60's craft of making a new gift label to go over the top of the original label. I ordered them, created a Christmas gift label and presented them to my friendly lunch group members at our Christmas Dinner. All of the ladies took an instant trip down memory lane and got a big kick out of my gift. It was an inexpensive fun thing to do and to give to a group. The order arrived well protected and at a very nice cost. I was glad to have found them here because it is rare to find a store with them and if you can, they never had the amount I needed. Amazon to the rescue and everyone was asking where on earth I found them again. It is not as quick or simple as microwave popcorn but it is delicious and nostalgic to make these, especially with one of your favorite kid(s).

Back in the pre-Cambrian Age...
Back in the pre-Cambrian Age one made popcorn in a skillet, burning lotsa popcorn and leaving a zillion unpopped kernels. Then in the late 50s, Jiffy Pop showed up. My cheap parents wouldn't buy it figgering that it cost a tiny bit more than the regular torch-on-the-stove stuff. But, dammit, I want me some popcorn when I'm camping (usually in the Mojave). In the desert backcountry I operate out of a CJ7, so there aren't any amenities like electricity. So I heat me up some Jiffy Pop, which is just plain fun to make, on the Coleman, to go along with my Miller High Life. Life is good.

NOT what I remember from my childhood with a recommendation of DO NOT BUY!
Where do I begin? Smaller package with plasticize bottom, unclear instructions about how to cook and how to take package top off first to reveal aluminum covered popcorn, oily tasting popcorn that is impossible to fully pop and then Jiffy Pop container ablaze while cooking it. The first package I tried to open resulted in the metal wire rim coming off before I attempted to cook it and that one hit the trash because you have to have a metal rim attached to shake during cooking. The second, I struggled to get the cardboard top off it to reveal the aluminum top above the popcorn. On a gas stove, it was difficult to get the correct "medium" temperature to cook it and most of the corn didn't pop, resulting in greasy popcorn of those that it did pop. Trashed. The third, my husband volunteered to try. Although he got the cardboard top off, and seemingly the right temperature, he nearly set the Vent-a-Hood on fire when he jerked the container off the medium high heat after it suddenly went ablaze around half of the rim while shaking. That one and the unopened last two Jiffy Pop's hit the trash. What a waste of time, effort and money. Somehow I thought, when I purchased this 5 pack, that Jiffy Pop would be easier and without the cleanup required for popcorn popped in a pot on the oven. Not being ready to call the fire department and remodel the kitchen AGAIN, I will go back to Orville Redenbacher's popcorn and suck-up cleaning a pot.

Nostalgic purchase.
Bought this because I remembered it from my childhood. At that age it was a real treat. But I now remember why we stopped buying it. It is very easy to overcook and burn. Even when done correctly the popcorn tastes stale and chewed. It is extremely expensive compared to microwave popcorn pouches and the microwave popcorn is MUCH, MUCH better tasting and lite. Only but the Jiffy Pop popcorn if you want to relive your child hood... but after you have cooked it and ate a few bytes... throw the rest in the trash and pop some of Orville Redenbochers microwave popcorn.

Fun & Yummy
I was so excited to order Jiffy Pop in time for my grandchildren’s visit! It’s a unique and fun way to make popcorn and it tastes really delicious. Just like I remember it💕 I was disappointed though, when I had to throw out two of the containers that arrived smashed and sodden with oil… they aren’t packaged well and were loose, banging around inside the shipping box with other items. I would recommend at least some bubble wrap… Still a five star product.

tasty
it was great to have and fun to make, issue was only one popcorn and not 5 like advertised. I did get a response from the seller which stated that they are taking the 5 down fromAmazon and I did receive a credit which was nice. I recommend the product but not for the price.

Big portions good buy.
Fun and different method of cooking popcorn on the hob! Delicious and a lot more well seasoned than microwave popcorn.
