Best Single Dynamic Driver IEM I've heard under £150
Buying IEMs is really a game of Russian Roulette. You haven't had a chance to hear them for yourself, and if you've not owned many you probably don't even what sound profile you prefer, and how even the eartips you use can affect the sound. For me the FD1 strikes the PERFECT balance. Its bass has a really strong and satisfying kick without compromising the mids or highs (**cough cough** 'KZ' **cough cough** Shure SE 215 **cough cough** MEE Audio **cough cough**). Comparing this to Fiio's FD3, I actually prefer the tonality of the FD1, but admittedly the FD3 has a wider soundstage. But the FD1's punch so far above their weight, this could easily have been a 200£ IEM.I'm very confident that the FD1 will cater to a wide variety of people's preferences for sound imo. If you're buying IEMs for the first time, trust me the FD1 is an extremely good place to start at an extremely good price. But at the end of the day you have to hear them for yourself. Try them with the foam tips included, gave me a perfect seal. A song that most IEMs I've owned struggle with is Travis Scott's 'The Plan'. The FD1 really kicks ass on this song. Other than not having the widest soundstage, the FD1 is faultless. I'd question getting the FD3s which I own considering its twice the price, with a very similar sound profile to the FD1. But for soundstage, the FD3s are better. If my friend were to be buying IEMs for the first time, this is the first IEM I would suggest.

Fiio knocked it out of the park
These have become my daily drivers. In my humble opinion, they are much better than the default recommendation at this price bracket, the Moondrop Aria's.The first thing to note is that out of the box I didn't like them. The sound was harsh, and seperate elements in the music sounded squshed together and within a narrow space, but after 10 hours of use they started to open up significantly. The soundstage is quite wide, tall and deep. The bass is very rumbly sub bass with less, but no insignificant mid bass. The mids are clear and not clouded. The highs really sparkle, which for me can sound too harsh at points, but a small bit of EQing eliminates that. The most impressive aspect is the clarity. Everything sounds almost like I'm in the room while the recording sessions are taking place, this is especially true for vocals.I have never been so impressed by a product, and this is only half of the picture as I have not mentioned, the accessories. The accessories packages is quite generous, to say the least. 6 pairs of silicone tips, a pair of memory foam tips, a really nice copper cable and my favourite accessory in the package, the case. A hard case that is solid and spacious enough for the earphones, cable and my bluetooth amp/dac. Perfect for throwing in to my backpack.Overall, very happy with my purchase, even with my initial impressions. Now I'm eyeing up the new FD3, hoping it's a nice linear upgrade from the FD1

Terrific Sounding IEM!
So I'm a headphone guy, I have 3 at home (Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80ohm, DT990 Pro and the Philips SHP9500 respectively) and I decided I could do with a DAP and IEM for when I'm out and about thus freeing up my phone and obviously quality sound. SPOILER: I got that. So, this is my first pair of IEMs, I'm still not used to having things resting in my ears so I'll say this up front too - tip experimentation is required. There are 3 sets of different size tips, small medium and large respectively. I needed to use the small bore tips that came with it as unfortunately the foam set and bigger tips caused me physical ear pain at the entrance of my ear canal but the small ones are fine that way. I still tend to get phantom sensations when the IEMs AREN'T in my ears lol. But again, I'm not used to it yet. Now, the quality of sound is excellent but again tips play a huge role here. The nice thing is if you want more or less bass you can have that by changing the tips. No matter what tips you use the mids and soundstage are really excellent. Basically, I feel like I've got comparable audio quality on the go as I do at home, which is exactly what I wanted - and I haven't even bought my DAP yet. These IEMs, for a first pair and without overdoing it, are simply fantastic! Price, packaging and accessories fantastic as well.

Decent IEM’s
One can never have enough different IEMs . When I listen to music ( all sorts included classic) I like to use a variety of headphones and of course in ear monitors. These IEMs are by no means perfect but I like them depending what I am listening to. Buy a pair, try a couple of music pieces and decide your self. I definitely think that they are good. Of course there is always better. Considering the price, they are good+.

Amazing IEMs that don't need a lot of power
First of all, I use these with 3 devices: the integrated HD audio on my desktop, Apple's USB C headphone jack DAC adapter with my Pixel 5 and my iPod Nano 8th gen.Coming from the QKZ VK4s, these are a massive upgrade. You can hear and feel the little things in songs, like guitars and pianos but don't expect too much punch or bass. These are more for people that prefer a balanced EQ for clarity rather than pronounced bass (which can overpower a lot of instruments). The biggest gripe I have with them is that the supplied eartips are a bit wide for my ears but others might find them fine.I'm not great at explaining but hopefully this review does some good towards your purchase. If you have more money to spend, obviously look at some more expensive brands (like Moondrop, they've got a great pair around £100) but if ~£55 is all you're able to spend, go for it. Returns are free if you end up not liking them so there's no reason not to get them.
