Fisher Space Pen Chrome Bullet Pen, Ballpoint, Brass, Black Ink

I received my first Fischer Space Pen as a gift and used it all the time until I lost it. I like that I can write on almost everything and it works all the time.

I’ve had several Space Pens over the years. At least 3 chromes, 1 black, 1 brass, maybe more. The prior one was brass. I love em, but….. The cartridge hole in my brass pen “wallered out” (engineering term -HA!) to become too big and the bottom 1 inch of the cartridge would fall thru. Soooo… I ordered this one (chrome) and promptly lost it. The packaging for the new pen stated the warranty and address so I could return the old brass pen for a warranty claim, so I returned it. The packaging DOES NOT refer you to the warranty on the website. “The large print giveth, and the small print taketh away”. I discovered later the website warranty has lotsa conditions, so I will probably never see my old brass pen again. I keep these pens in my pants pocket, and I have lost several. If I lose it in the recliner, it will eventually turn up. If I lose it while pulling out paper bills in a restaurant, and I don’t notice, it won’t. It helps to wrap a rubber band around the pen to help keep it in your pocket. At $25+ a pop, they are too expensive to lose. Take a look at the “Rite in the Rain” pen on Amazon. It’s plastic, but functionally about the same as the Space Pen.. AND you get 2 pens for 1/2 the cost of one Space Pen…. I can afford to lose these…. But I am STILL using the rubber band. UPDATE: in fairness to Space Pen, they eventually (3 weeks) did send me a new (not refurbished) brass replacement Space Pen. Even though I did not return the damaged pen in a box, and I did not pay return postage, per their website warranty conditions. Thank you Space Pen!

I have been using The Fisher Space Pen for years. I have given it as gifts. It is the best ballpoint pen and due to its small size when capped it can be carried anywhere. It reminds me that technology can used for good and preserving older forms of communication.

I love this small pen that I can carry in my pants pocket all day. Writes on anything, anywhere. Highly recommend.

I like this space pen because itis easy to carry in my pocket, and it is a ballpoint, so it won't leak like my gel pens

This is a Fisher space pen.It's the 400 or "bullet" model.Space pens are great and I like them very much.I am giving 4 stars because I've ordered this item twice on Amazon, and both times I received a random color.The picture shows, and the listing clearly says, "chrome" pen.In both cases the pen (ordered on Amazon) came from Office Max. I received one black pen, and one purple(!) a color I didn't know they even made.I guess they are just grabbing them at random.But hey, it's still a Space Pen. Just don't expect to get the silver one.

This pen fits perfectly in my wallet or just in the placket. Very pleased with this purchase.
