Baby's can't use it , maybe a 1 year old.

Mine does not record. It does play a baby's laughing and cooing sounds, in addition to the other other sounds and condensed versions of nursery songs. It plays these sounds, when you move the elephant back and forth.

My girl loves this baby elephant and takes it to bed with her at night

Oh my sweet girl loved this little elephant so much. It says 0 to 6 months but she's eight months and she absolutely loves it. Her face just lit up when she saw it and she plays with it and has it in the crib with her at night. This was a really good investment for me because I'm definitely getting my moneys worth and she adores her baby elephant.

Cute little elephant

This is a cute little musical elephant toy that I got for my daughter. I think the fact that all the buttons are on the torso and the ears, nose, arms, legs, are all so large makes it harder to get to the buttons. But that's not a bad thing if you have a chewer. It works well and is very cute looking so that works. 1 Star - Awful! Want my money back! 2 Stars - Bad but not horrendous. 3 Stars - Good/Decent 4 Stars - Really good. 5 Stars - Awesome! Definitely recommend!
