Has anyone used it while scuba diving?

Wrong watch. You're looking for the Descent series. The Venu series is Garmin's answer to the Apple watch or Samsung Galaxy series. Nice displays, good to very good battery life, modest smart watch featuers, and a variety of exercise tracking options and guidance are the Venu series strong suit, but not scuba diving.

Is there a place to see your gps walk on a map?

I have only tried this twice as I am not a walker/runner. Seems like when you start an activity such as walk or run, it will track you on a map on the watch screen. But only during the activity mode. It won’t show you the map outside of an activity.
