Van NessMedium Auto Waterer, 6-Liter

I actually bought one of these about 18 years ago for a puppy of mine. It always worked well for her but as our fur babies tend to do she died in 2017. 5 and a half years later I got a new puppy and dug it out again. Still works well. I wanted another water feeder for another room so when to the store and bought what they had. A $32 water feeder that my pup drank out of for one day and stopped cause he is afraid of the "glug glug" sound it makes. The old one makes a quieter tapping kind of sound when it empties more water so he is not afraid of it. I looked at the old feeder which still had it's sticker on it and looked on here and tada! they have it! Ordered this one and my pup now my pup can have his water without fear in the other room too. As someone else has mentioned, make sure after you fill it when you put the top back on you hear some distinct "click click" sounds as you snap it back on. I have never had a problem with the top coming off while flipping it over into the dish but I always make sure the top clicks securely in place first.

Foster puppies are messy little creatures. I finally bought this waterer because of my current litter of puppies. All day, every day they have nothing better to do than tip over their water bowl. I was filling their bowl and mopping up water at least 12 times per day.This waterer had a slight funky smell when I unpacked it and had a bit of a slimy feel to the plastic water reservoir. I washed it in dish soap and after letting it air dry, the smell and slimy feel were gone.So far I'm quite happy with it. None of my puppies have found a way to tip it over, nor have they found a way to chew it up.My only annoyance is in filling the reservoir. It could use a way to fill it from the top instead of having to carefully pick it up and carry it to the sink without spilling the water still left in the tray. If there were a way to restrict the water flow while removing the reservoir for refilling, I would LOVE this waterer. Until then, I'll just keep on really liking it.

Sturdy, space saving design. Handles at the bottom make it easy to transport. If there was anything I'd tweak is the fact of how low it lays on the ground. Elevating it just by 2-3 inches would be a nice improvement (hence 4 stars).I have arthritis and this is the first, one and only waterer I can easily take apart and clean.Highly recommend and will buy again when the time comes.

It can get little messy when replacing water but overall very easy to use.Love that you can take off kid and pour water easily.

I bought this and the matching food dish. It is larger than I had anticipated. It doesn't fit where I planned to use it, but that is my fault for not paying attention to the dimensions. It is functional and definitely holds enough water for our three cats. It is a little awkward to fill, snap the lid on and turn it over. I only filled the container about half full because I was concerned about turning it over or water spilling out. It does the job.

It came with a crack but still worked however, I was worried it might not last so I returned it but I had to pay $5 just to print the label at UPS store and it really wasn't worth it! I still paid $5 just to get a refund for a cheap product that came broken! Make sure you request for scannable code or pray you don't get one that comes crack like a couple others, including me have!

We bought these after trying the more expensive brands and let me say this bad boy is a boss. We have both the waterer and feeder. We have a 50lb pit she doesn’t over eat a whole lot so the medium will last us almost 2 weeks for food the water we do weekly just cause water gets stale but using it is easy, she loves it and way better quality for almost half the price!

Bad:The water container's lid has to be snapped on really good before you can turn over the filled container to mount to the base. Otherwise, the lid comes off, and you'll have a big mess.Good:The water container's square bottom sits more stable on the base.However, this waterer did last. My 2 dogs were still able to knock the water container off its base, and then they chewed off the protruding piece where the water container would 'attach.'

Anteriormente había comprado el de 1.5 lts y no fue suficiente. Este de 6 lts fue perfecto para mi perrita (akita 6 meses).No la lleno completamente y la relleno cada 4-5 días aproximadamente.Muy fácil de usar y muy útil. Recomiendo ampliamente para perros medianos-grandes

El producto al principio parece muy bueno. Sin embargo cuando llenas el depósito, tienes que sujetarlo de la parte de abajo todo el tiempo, ya que de no ser así, el peso del agua que ejerce al voltearlo sobre la charola, es demaciado para que la tapa permanezca en su sitio. Me pasó que lo tomé de los lados para no mojarme las manos al darle la vuelta, y en ese momento se abrió y derramó toda el agua, haciendo un regadera por doquier.Por otro lado el tener una boquilla tan grande para soltar el agua hace mucho ruido y espanta a mis perros, evitando tomar agua de éste contenedor o haciéndolo con mucho miedo.

Nos gustó mucho, sin embargo fue imposible seleccionar un color, llegó tal cual en la imagen. También es un poco complejo de utilizar pues se tiene que llenar primero el tanque y poner la base al revés. Al voltearlo para ponerlo al derecho, en el piso, empieza a llenarse el plato (obviamente, porque gravedad) se puede hacer un tiradero.

Para mi perra gran danés resultó muy bueno pues bebe mucho , es práctico y además al mismo tiempo puede beber otro de mis perros junto con ella y no tengo que estar llenando el contenedor a cada rato. El precio para el tamaño muy bueno.
