Smooth but stiff
The tolerances on this unit are close. It’s well made but if you’re looking for “free wheeling “ performance this isn’t for you. The unit I received is very smooth and there is no “slop” it’s tight. It spins well but requires constant input to keep it moving. I’m not able to give it a spin so to say. Maybe after some time it will loosen up.

Did exactly what I hoped for.....
First - I did NOT find it noisy or binding. There is a very slight noise when it's rotated, but I've heard worse from ones at restaurants. Binding didn't seem to be a problem...I mounted a 1" thick, 24" diameter wood board to it and it rotates with no binding or difficulty even though the 24" is 2" wider than the specs say is maximum for the 10" ring. I did put a light coat of lithium grease on the bearings to only help protect it while being outdoors.Second - I asked the question if it was high enough to clear the "plug" on my table that covered the umbrella hole and was told "NO". When I checked, it had about 1/4" clearance - thanks to the feet - so double bonus!Third - It is constructed from high-grade aluminum and very robust!I am extremely happy with this product and would purchase it again!

Nice a smooth if you have weight on it.
This is perfect if you’re like me and using it to make a lazy Susan that will hold a lot of weight. Specifically sewing machines for me. So we screwed a large round board from Lowe’s to it and it works perfect. But as other reviews have pointed out it is specifically for heavy applications, it won’t spin smoothly with just a light load. My machines range from 15-45lbs for reference. I do wish they included a template for attaching it for those who’s brains are too fried to get it centered perfectly lol. I eventually got it with my husbands help, we ended up eyeballing it and it was just fine.

Great Lazy Susan
I got this cute little 2 tier shelf at 40% off fall decor from a well known Hobby store (yes that's the one). My husband couldn't understand why it would not turn. I told him because it wasn't designed that way. Well...I saw the light bulb go on in his head and fast forward a couple days later he turned my little 2 tier shelf into an even better shelf to put next to my coffee machine! The lazy susan is attached to the bottom with 4 screws that do not come through to the other side. It turns very smoothly each and every time. If you're looking for a lazy susan for any type of home project, this is the one. He had previously ordered one from another supplier on Amazon, but that one would not turn at all so it was returned. Do not hesitate to buy this one from HLMOptimo.

excellent for displaying a dollhouse
my wife wanted something that which he displays her dollhouse that she can rotate the house with ease , and this rain that is used for Lazy Susan's works out perfectly the suction is really good holds everything in place will not move and rotating having dollhouse is a breeze on this particular dollhouse I purchased the biggest one to distribute the weight more even if you look at the bottom between the table in the house you can see the ring so I highly recommend anyone want to display their dollhouse and to be able to rotate house to work on it or to display it in a different way this is the perfect answer

Perfect, no grinding, not out of round, silent (mostly), rubber feet on both rings.
After reading the reviews, mostly the reviews from other sellers, I was cautious about buying one of these. Mine is perfect. This seller is a little more expensive but it was worth it in my case. There is a slight click when you change directions, that is normal. The balls do not fill the entire inner race so the ones at the gap can tap against each other.I generally take weight estimates with a grain of salt. These are aluminum and will bend and twist if not well reinforced.FYI, some sellers here are buying various products that have failed quality control in bulk and flipping them on amazon. What I have started doing is to give a seller the benefit of the doubt and give them one chance to get me a good one. My advice, if your second one is bad get a refund and move on to another seller.

VERY Impressive Lazy Susan
Fast shipping and well packaged. This rotates impressively smooth as silk without any stops in either direction. The best part is that it stays where you spin it to. It has a quality aluminum frame that spins without a making a sound. It does not move once in position. (unlike cheaper versions that move by themselves) and it does not free spin. If you rotate it fast, it will not spin far. It only really moves if you make it do so. Love this feature. Highly recommended seller and Lazy Susan. P.S. I have NOT been compensated for this review. It's just that great of a product. Thanks Just what I needed. :)

Noisy, not mounting friendly
This turntable is two concentric rings that sit flush with one another. The ball bearings run inside a vertical race between the concentric aluminum rings. Lubricant will fall out of the rings, and the steel balls will eventually wear out the softer aluminum. It’s not “quiet”. It’s fairly noisy, but not terribly so.Because the rings are flush, if you want to screw the turntable to a wooden disk, you should add a washer or two between the disk and the turntable so the rotating ring doesn’t rub against the disk. You could also drill through the included feet and screw through those for an offset. No hardware other than the turntable ring is provided.

Stable and smooth.
Lazy Susan worked as intended. More than strong enough to support my project and function as needed. Very smooth operation. Well crafted and affordable! Would buy again.
