This downsized ironing board is perfect for me! It's easy to set up and put away, and I enjoy working on it. Just one complaint -- the carton that is used for shipping is too fragile. The box was almost totally destroyed, held together but packing tape, part of the contents missing and one of the feet twisted at an unusable angle. After I returned that one, I ordered a second one which arrived with one end of the carton open but the contents intact.

I'm in my 70's and can no longer lug around my full-sized ironing board. This lightweight board is a great alternative. I hung it on a hook on the wall behind my bedroom door and can get it down and set up with no trouble. Being lightwwight, it isn't as stable as my old board - I need to be careful to not lean too hard, especially at the pointed end, or the board will tip. Just a matter of getting used to doing things a little differently. My only real criticism is that the "Extra Thick Heavy Duty Padded Cotton Cover" is no such thing. It's too thin to iron on effectively. I purchased "Encasa Homes Replacement Ironing Board Cover" in size medium and put it over the original cover. Together they make a decent ironing surface. The Happhom board won't replace a decent full-sized ironing board, but it's an acceptable alternative when a full-size board isn't practical.

Just received this ironing board and, well, as an ironing board, it functions fine. It's certainly sturdier than my old board, but it isn't worth the price I paid. A few things I observed after my initial use of the board: (1) The pad is not very thick. I prefer a thick, more padded surface, so I will be purchasing at least one more cover (possibly two), to create my preferred thickness; (2) the grill surface of the board is slightly concave. I don't know if this is the intended design or a manufacturing defect or perhaps this particular board was damaged in shipping?? Regardless of cause, I'm hoping the additional padded cover(s) will remedy this issue; and (3) The board arrived with one particular edge of the grill detached (see photo). I didn't realize this until my iron kept banging into a metal piece. When I lifted the cover, I saw that an edge of the grill had detached, and am grateful that I discovered this before the sharp edge snagged any of my clothing. I was able to push it down into alignment with pliers and covered the detached edge with duct tape. If I had purchased this board in a brick & mortar, I probably would have returned it. But because this product is large and unwieldy, it's not worth my effort to return it -- but I will think twice before purchasing a Happhom product again.UPDATE: It's been a few months and I'm updating my review to one star. This is really a junky, not particularly sturdy ironing board. The center of the board sinks and bends indicating that the quality of the metal material used is not great. No matter how much padding I place on the board, it's impossible to create a level working/ironing space. I regret this purchase.

Great size, not huge, but not small either. Nice thick pad. Easy to put it up and fold again to store. Wish it had a pull-out handle to hang ironed clothes on. That is the only thing I miss compared to my old one. That one rusted - I hope this one doesn't!

I disliked that it did not come with an ironing lady.

I like the ironing surface and compact size but it was quite wobbly. I just put a cloth under one leg to stabilize it, but when I turned it over after I was done I noticed that the pin on which the legs pivot was not through all the legs (see photo). I pushed it back in but it just popped right out again. There doesn't seem the be a way to contact the seller through Amazon, instead I was directed to their website, but the contact us form did not work.I would give the product 5 stars if it was not broken. If I manage to get hold of them and they resolve the issue I will update my review.

Great ironing board

There are more anchors on this cover than the usual. The fit is tight and the cover doesn't slide around when ironing.

I hate to iron with the regular board due to the weight. Now I take care of business without swearing at the board when I set up! It fits great in my front hall closet and easy to take down. Great for apartment living.

The cover is well made and thicker than most covers. I was hoping it would be wide enough for my board(15 and half inches) as I found it difficult to get that width but unfortunately not. I am still able to use it but not able to make the cover taut.

Both feet are twisted ~ 10 degrees inwards causing a drastic wobble.also the closet clip isnt as discribed in the video and is just cheap plastic that doesnt grip the base of the foot so it aways falls away as trying to put away.there is some warping of the table top but most ironing boards do this so id say its not aestheticly pleasing its not unlike other products on the market.Overall i strongly do not recommend because it doesnt stand straight and wobbles too much. If they just made a 3 legged ironing board it would never wobble.
