Very good quality and clean.
I used barley instead of rice when I make stuffed peppers or stuffed cabbage. They are tastier and only have half the carbohydrates than rice. Keeps well in the freezer.

Great barley!
My grocery store stopped carrying barley so I went ahead and got a huge bag. They cook great and full of flavor in about 2 hours in a slow cooker. Unlike the name, they are not spicy.

Good taste, easy to cook
The barley is good quality at a good price. I do find it strange that the packaging does not have cooking instructions or nutrition information. But it’s easy enough to look up those things on the internet.

Added to my Staples
I love barley, lentils, rice, orzo, and all kinds of dry beans so I try to keep them as staples. I have also changed my diet considerably, aided by a dietitian, after discovering my unacceptably high cholesterol levels. This brand, I hadn't tried before so I added a bag to my larder line-up. I love the flavor of barley that's cooked well. Through Amazon, I have bought different brands and more to share with family. Lately, I've been batch-cooking mixtures of lentils, peas, grains and rices, then freezing them in portions that I can pull out for soups and stews with meats. I'm glad that I tried this brand. I'll be trying more of their products because this is a good barley.

Great value
This barley was very clean. Even though I rinsed it there was nothing that came off of it. Easy to use Cooks in about 1 hour great for soups. Very good value, I will definitely purchase again
