Good reel
Good reel and will cast a long way. We haven’t caught a fish yet to try the drag but it seems to be good.

Received different reel than the one pictured
Not sure what is going on but I returned due to inaccurate picture. I received a white closed face reel, not this red one. I did eventually purchase this reel (pictured) locally at a sporting goods store and it works great, but if you order this I'm not sure what you'll get.

Compact, convenient reel ready for all times!
Upon receiving my reel, I was pleased to see the attention to detail and engineering for a small compact reel. This reel has served me well fishing for a variety of species, including bass and panfish. I would highly recommend this reel as a go to tool in the future!

Functions great
Cast real far, works smoothly, don’t like the crank shaft screw turning in the palm of hand though. I hold it like a baitcaster so that screw is in the palm of my left hand. It’s the screw that you can switch the crank from one side to the other but the reel functions perfectly.

The dust cap button to change Right/Left handed too large...
When the reel is changed for a Right handed person: the dust cap button is now on the left and when grabbing the reel with the left hand while reeling in the line that dust cap button is so large that it rubs your against your hand and because it is not smooth but instead has rigged edges it hurts like heck... This is a design flaw that left/right changing button should be smaller, thinner and smooth; sending it back. Otherwise, the reels casts and operates well. I could move my left hand onto the rod handle but it's cumbersome and doesn't feel right to control the reel and rod.

VOLLAUF BEGEISTERT ! Ansich gerne 20 und mehr Sterne ! Preis-/Leistung und vor allem die Ersparnis stimmt mich ABSOLUT zufrieden ! Sicher ( für's Forellen- oder Spinn angeln ) kein Highend ( läuft kurbelnd nicht sooooo flüßig/leichtgängig nach, wie ich es mir erwünscht hätte ), aber für den entrichteten Preis gibt's da meinerseits mal echt NICHTS zu meckern; bedauer, dass es nur 1 Stk. gab ! :( Eine echt sehr schöne ' 500'er ' - Rolle - REICHT mehr als aus für die beabsichtigten Zwecke ( mit nachträglich zu belegender monofiler 0,18'er Schnur ). K A U F E N ! ! ! :);) Der UVP scheint noch GERADE SO ok, aber ich freue mich DIEBISCH über den eigens nur entrichteten Preis ! :) ;)
