This is a game changer. I’ve been using this every day for 7 months so far and I will not stop. I was getting at least one chalazion on average every six weeks, and often in both eyes simultaneously. Sometimes it would take four or five weeks for one to resolve and then another would immediately appear. I’m one of the unlucky people that always have an infection in the blockage. My doctor told me to treat by putting warm wet compresses on my eyes 6 to 8 times per day for a minimum of 10 minutes each, and a minimum of twice daily for prevention. Impossible to do if you have a job or even a life! I stumbled upon this product searching for something that might help treat and prevent chalazia. I started using this product one or two times per day, but definitely each night before bed, and had not had a single chalazion for seven months. It’s very easy to use; you just warm it in the microwave and place it over your eyes for 10 minutes. I got my first chalazion since starting the product nine days ago. To treat it, I began using the eye mask multiple times a day and immediately noticed a difference in how the chalazion was progressing. Within a few days, the infection came to a head and drained itself which had NEVER happened before. I’m certain my eye will be back to normal in another few days instead of the weeks I’ve been used to in the past. You can purchase a “tissue” that the same company manufactures as a barrier to keep your eye mask clean, and I used a couple of boxes at first and they’re nice. Now I just use a kleenex with great success. I’ve used the mask when wearing makeup once (accidentally) and my makeup didn’t look too smudged afterward. So if I worked I could have taken it and used it during lunch and breaks. The mask stays in place, super easy to use, easy to wash, has strong Velcro, but it’s on elastic so you don’t need to adjust the Velcro once it’s set. It’s a great size that fits multiple sized people, super safe to use (do NOT overheat!!), isn’t wet or sloppy, so you can lay down and relax during treatment without getting things wet. It is very durable and still looks new after 7 months of multiple daily use. I would not hesitate. This thing really is a game changer!!

It works!!! it’s easy to use. The item can be quickly adjusted to every size with the unique feature of sliding one of the eye patches to get the perfect fit. I can feel the increased moisture immediately after use. Highly recommended.

Works great for my stye issue, but the elastic strap that goes around my head to hold it in place is poor quality and loses it’s elactisity after using after a few weeks making it useless

My doctor introduced me to this compress several years ago during Covid. I'd developed an eye irritation from wearing a mask so often. I am now using the Bruder compress (one eye only) for an eye infection, and to help with general eye dryness. The compresses are washable, and you can wear one or both depending on your needs (if you just want one compress, you slide the other off the elastic. You can easily replace it.) This mask holds the heat well and is very soothing. The band is adjustable. IMO it's a very well designed product.

The Good--Well, actually, the Excellent. I took a chance on the Bruder eye masks because I knew if they didn't work, I could return them. From the very first time I used one, I knew I'd be keeping them. I was skeptical about the moisture part, but I could literally feel it on my eyelids and on my fingertip when I touched eyelids after using the mask. Unlike the hot damp washcloth method I've been using (which starts to cool off in seconds), the Bruder eye mask stays hot for at least five minutes, then cools. It feels wonderful while you're using it, and your eyes feel wonderful afterwards. Usually hot pads that you heat in the microwave have a smell, but the Bruder eye mask doesn't give off any smell at all when heated. The Bad--Just that the description is missing some useful information. The strap is made of soft elastic, with a good length of Velcro at the back for adjustment. While the front is textured, the unseen part that goes against your eyes is a very soft material. The price--I choked on it a bit, but I'm glad I got the pack of two, as you have to let the mask dry at least 24 hours when you wash it by hand. Having two means you never have to go without. Also, being able to cut way back on eyedrops means they'll pay for themselves very quickly. The Ugly--Yeah, ok, look at them. Literally kind of ugly. This is not a sleek, stylish mask. It's chunky and functional. But--it works so well I wouldn't dock it even a quarter star for how it looks. Check with your eye care professional first. If they think hot, moist compresses will help your dry eyes, blepharitis, etc., the Bruder eye mask is definitely worth trying. I'm super happy that I did.

The eye compress was a heavier than expected. It took between 20-25sec to heat. It does work. My eyes felt great afterwards.
