GREAT PRINTER - HEAVY ON INK
I have had this printer for a while now. Set up really well, print quality is great. it is neat, compact and looks really good - as far as printers go.It does loose connection and the only way to re-establish is to turn it off and on again. My main gripe with it is how much ink it uses. I am going through 2 XL Black and 1 XL colour a month. Much more than previous HP printers I have had with the same amount of printing. In fact now I think twice before I print and often open the document to use save ink option but this is time consuming while working instead of using the quick print button. There may well be a way to save this option but I have not found it. I am happy with the printer, didn't bother setting up the ink package - perhaps that would have been a good idea.

Manufacturer's warranty had expired and no free ink!
Purchased a new product as I wanted a manufacturer's warranty and also the tech support and the 6 months free ink that accompanies it if needed. Product arrived and to all intents was a new item - however - once set up (very easy) having been guided by the HP smart app - I was informed that the warranty had expired in December 2021 and no entitlement to free ink. The price for this item was almost identical to the price for the same product on the HP website which comes with a 3 year warranty and 9 months of free ink! I had no alternative but to return the item and instead purchase it from HP direct. I will say that it is a great printer and was very easy and straightforward to set up.

You have to be really patient
It was so difficult to access the "wireless" device to my phone. So I bought a cable to send directly the information from my computer. No wireless

Maybe a tech too far
This replaced a hard-working, but becoming unreliable previous HP all-in-one. Shifting to more (in theory) intuitive usage and wi-fi only, the functioning of the printer being dependent thereupon, I believe makes it less versatile than its predecessor. I paid extra for this model with feeder, but on first attempt to use that, couldn't figure out what to do (and was in a hurry, so just fed it myself and haven't needed since.) Printer gives all its user information via soft lighting: 1) it glows under the scan bed in different colours to tell you its status, which looks cool, but using the long-established green, yellow, red convention would make more sense. 2) It has function icons to press, which are logically coloured, but it's like the printer is trying to decide for you and these are the only controls. This info is for HP, as the purchase process was perfect.
