My second one
This is the 2nd one of these I bought. Itโs loud, has a red blinking light when activated & defo gets attention. What I found when testing multiple others is that pressing the activation button is EXTREMELY easily accessible. Itโs not a small flick button on the side or a teeny round button in the middleโฆ itโs a LARGE round button smack dab in the middle. You also turn off the alarm the same way. Some other devices, you have to turn it off via the underneath of the watch face which is embarrassing in a false activation. Battery lasts almost a year & itโs never malfunctioned in the 2 Iโve had from 2 diff sellers. The elastic arm band can get twisted behind the button so try not be lazy & keep it straight.

Not many options, this the best of those available.
This is a very chunky item, probably not suitable for a slender wrist. The strap is coarse, cheap fabric and rather badly made. I removed it and replaced with some soft pink elastic. The alarm is not viciously loud, but enough to make you jump, so someone not expecting it would hopefully be put off any intended assault. You press the large central button and the alarm goes off - press again to stop it. I sometimes attach it to my bag rather than me.

Works, not loud as I expected
Convenient to use since I can reach it a lot faster to a keyring alarm inside my pocket, works, but noise level isn't loud as I expected. I bought this having previously been attacked, needed an alarm when cycling outside at night.

Comfortable and loud
Excellent. Very loud. Easy press on/off. Comfortable strap on wrist under or over jacket. Bought for out running on dark evenings

not very loud
no way is this as loud as claimed. bought for my dad to alert my mum if he fell in his room. couldn't hear it at all if door shut. waste of money really. wouldn't trust it to save me if I relied on it in the street if attacked.
