Was looking for a good scooter for my grandson when I came across the Schwinn Shuffle adult kick scooter. I didn’t even know they made “adult” kick scooters but when I saw the photos I just couldn’t get over the beauty and nostalgic look of this scooter. After reading the reviews I decided to get it and wow what a beautiful scooter and it is stable and the ride is so smooth. I just love and enjoy riding it with my grandson. Now for the details. If you live read the reviews you’ve undoubtedly seen these key complaints. Fenders warped, hard to assemble shotty paint and stickers put on with dirty hands. You also read that the platform is too high off the ground making it hard to ride. Here is my take on them all starting with the fenders. The rear fender on mine was a little twisted but there is a brace that is attached to the fender that connects it to the frame it is secured to the fender with two screws loosen them and straighten the brace then attaché it to the frame the tighten it all back up problem solved because it will self align. I left mine off because I’m ordering chrome fenders for mine.As for shotty craftmenship dirty stickers and such, my guess is that it was ordered used. Mine came in almost perfect shape.Now for the assembly. If you are not mechanically inclined this will be an issue, I suggest taking it to a bike shop or get someone who is mechanically inclined to assemble it. The brakes can be hard to adjust if you don’t understand how they work. I was extremely easy for me as I have worked on everything from bikes to tanks in the army.Now the ride. Yes the platform sits a little higher than other scooters and yes it will give you a workout but it is so smooth and fast that you will soon get used to it as well as in great shape. This scooter is just awesome and it is stunningly beautiful. If you are thinking of getting one get this one you won’t regret it!!!

I will be looking into making it electric just to help a little. I’ll be 40 in a month but I consider myself athletic. What a workout! Obviously you can go at your own pace but I have to keep up with my 5 year old on his bike. Assembly wasn’t bad at all but I had bikes growing up so I knew how to put it together. Brakes can get tricky but it was good to go out of the box. Pictures don’t do it justice either. It’s a very nice looking scooter, definitely a head turner because it’s bigger

This thing is a blast! Fast! And fun! You can do it casually or get a helluva workout on it. It is big! Its tall and long. Its not light but its not too heavy when needed to be carried.Some cons. Its a Schwinn. Once they got bought by Dorel in China things went less than perfect. I already know this. And this is no exception. I ride nice bikes down the lines of Bianchi. So I dont expect Bianchi quality from a Schwinn product. Especially for $200. With that said, I plan on changing the cheap grips, cheap brake handles, cheap brake pads, and dreadfully cheap tires asap. If you are going to casually ride this once in a blue moon you will be fine. I plan on using it every day. I need more durable quality parts. And I like to modify anyway.My only other thing is I agree with everyone elses review of the deck being a pinch high. Im 5’9” and its a stretch for me. I couldnt imagine being 5’3 using this. I might get a pal to fabricate a thinner steel plate so its a little lower.With all this said, I have plans of doing an electric conversion just for hill assist as to not have to get off and walk it.Its fun and the price is right. You will get looks and questions when riding around.

As soon as I saw this...I was taken back to my childhood.I did not have anything as good as this Schwinn when I was younger, but the principle and the amount of FUN FUN FUN is exactly as I remember it.The 26" wheel up front rolls over any rough surfaces...bumps...kittens (kidding) with ease...and the 20" wheel in the back keeps it all stable and rolling along.What can I say...it's SIMPLE...it is so easy to use and maintain.Do you have dogs? You'll love this...and so will your pooches. It's the perfect speed for you and your dogs.I am a bicyclist myself, and I ride almost every day. I stopped taking the bike for the dog walks after getting this scooter. It works some of the same muscles...but also a few others...the footwork and stroke is different than riding a bicycle...it's a different workout.Everything arrived in good order. Assembly was a breeze. My wife and I live in flat Florida...so I pulled the braking system off the front wheel...no need for it.The standing board is simple and rough on purpose for traction.For two hundred bucks give or take...this is a HECK of a lot of FUN.I still ride my bikes every day, a Marin MTB and one Lectric Premium e-bike...love them both.But the morning and evening walks with my dogs...THIS is the vehicle of choice.Glad I found it, and my wife also has fallen in love with it.
