Worked for me. A few small niggles though.
On the whole this was a great success for me. I largely opted for this one as it says itโs made in the UK. I had lots of skin tags of various vintage (ergo various sizes) on my neck, plus one on my upper thigh. I chose to order the small/medium Auto Tagband. Itโs a compact little kit. The โpenโ applicator appears to be well made and is easy to operate. The little blue band loading piece is quite delicate at the narrow end, so donโt go stabbing at the bands to pick them up - it will bend! There are full, clear instructions included. You are supposed to get a number of alcohol swabs to clean your skin before application, but these were missing from my kit. I didnโt bother complaining about this because I had isopropyl alcohol I could use on a cotton pad and just wanted to get going. For the larger tags on my neck and the one on my thigh, it worked like a dream and fairly quickly. The smaller tags took more time but eventually fell off. When it came to the teeny tiny tags however, the bands more often than not just slipped off really easily. Therefore it would be good if some slightly smaller bands were available. (I havenโt looked to see if there are any available yet). The stages of โidealโ skin tag removal I noticed were for the first few days-week I didnโt really notice anything. Then it would seem like the tag would get a little bigger. There would be a little pain if say, hair or clothing got caught (if this was problematic I covered the tag with a plaster). Pain would get worse then disappear and the tag would begin to gradually get harder and darker in colour. It would then eventually fall off, or be โencouragedโ to fall off. (The pain I would describe as quite sharp and not constant - only if something came in to contact with the tag, or I turned my head (for the ones on my neck). Covering with a plaster until the pain stops is the best solution). After the tags fell off I applied a little Sudocrem or Savlon. There is usually a little redness and a slight bump but these eventually disappear. I havenโt experienced any scarring. Other than the missing swabs and need for smaller bands, I am so pleased I tried this. I have had to wear my hair down all the time for years and years, scared that other people would see my crop of skin tags. Now I can throw my hair up without a care. My mum was so impressed she asked me to use it on a tag she had on her neck, which was also successfully removed. Enlist help from another person to apply to hard to see/reach tags.

It actually works.
I've tried those freeze off ones that boast to be the same stuff doctors use to no avail, except maybe getting that freeze stuff on my fingers, so when I bought this I was pretty much expecting the same thing, but it's not. The concept makes sense and is simple. The applicator is easy to use, it did take a couple tries to get it, but the couple tries is well worth it. The band "hugs," skin tag. cutting off blood supply and in a few days it just falls off. Simple, easy peezy, not sure what other sutpid things i can say to emphasis how easy this was. For those concerned; does it hurt? No, absolutely not. I mean consciously you know there a band there for a couple days, but I mostly forgot about it until one day I had completely forgotten and was taking a shower and realized it had already fallen off... and guess what??? NO SKIN TAG. Thank you!!!

Great device but need more info on sizes
I've had four skin tags for as long as I can remember. I swear I was born with these unsightly things. A large one on my stomach (8mm) and medium ones on my neck, chest and armpit (4-5mm). I ended up having to buy both the micro- and auto- tagband due a lack of clear sizing information. This makes the kit somewhat costly but still considerably cheaper than visiting a private skin clinic. Once I had the right size kit, the bands were very easy to fit. I found the area quite tender for the first couple of days but then the discomfort was gone. Each tag started to turn black after about 2-3 days but they took between 7-10 days to fall off completely. After they fell off, there was a small hole and some redness but I'm pretty sure that will fade quite quickly. As others have said, make sure you wear a plaster over the tag to stop it rubbing on clothes etc. Constantly replacing the plasters after showering etc. was probably the most frustrating part of the process. Also be gentle when drying after a shower as you don't want go accidentally pull the band off too early. Overall a great device, and I only wish I'd found this years earlier.

Almost worked
I bought this as I had a small but annoying skin tab on my forehead (great place for one I know) I have others but this is the only one that really bothered me and was occasionally causing discomfort. The applicator works amazingly well, but when putting the bands on 2 snapped before I realized that there was a tiny molding tab on the tool to put them onto it and was cutting them enough to break them, but after I filed this down it worked great. Once the band was on I discovered any rubbing (wiping sweat, wearing a hat, etc..) knocked the band out of place or even pulled it off completely making me have to put on another one, and I still haven't found the ones I had on when I went to bed or most of the ones that fell off during the days. This being said, and after a lot of faffing around... after a few days I noticed the skin tab was dried up and half of the base of it was black and it was causing much more discomfort so figuring it was dead (and maybe not being in the best of moods with all the effort it was taking and bands I was running through) I took a small pair of flat wire cutters to it and it came off easily and with no pain or bleeding, then after another day or so you couldn't even tell it was there to begin with. So did it work.. well kind of and for the most part, sure I guess it did... but do I just wish I'd cut it off to begin with and worn a plaster for a while without any of the hassle.. well kind of yes.

Wow......it really works
I have had a medium size skin tag in a rather intimate area for about 18 months. It was starting to make me feel self-conscious, so I decided it was time to part company Looking at reviews on Amazon and researching various options, I decided to order this product. My order arrived very quickly and was discreetly packaged. I was a bit apprehensive and nervous about using the product, so I spent a further 3 weeks plucking up the courage to apply it. I have to say I should not have been concerned at all. It took 6 days in total to work its magic. Day 1 I asked my husband to help with the application purely because of the location. My mind had convinced me it was going to be horrific and feel like being shot or something. I can honestly say I never even felt it go on. Once on, at worse it can be described as a slightly tight feeling but certainly not painful at all. The instructions were easy to follow, and the pen was user friendly. The bands are that small they are a little fiddly to handle. Day 2 Band still in place with no discomfort at all. I even went to Zumba in the evening with no issues. I have to say not much change in size or colour. At this stage I had my doubts if it would work for me. Day 3 Slightly smaller and a bit grey in color. Still having doubts. Day 4 Woke up this morning and quite a dramatic change. It had turned very dark in colour (Almost black) and shrunk considerably. Progress!!! Still no pain or discomfort. Day 5 Black and further shrinking. It also turned quite stiff to touch today. I have to say it was little tender today but certainly cannot be described as painful. Day 6 To my amazement my little friend fell off today. No pain when he came off. It has left a tiny little mark which is hardly noticeable. I cannot recommend this product enough. If you have a skin tagโฆ..donโt let it make you feel self-consciousโฆ..just deal with it. Mine took 6 days and its all done. Good luck!

Probably the best way to get rid of your skin tags
If you're pondering whether to get this, or the slightly cheaper manual version, pay the extra couple of quid. The manual version works fine, but can be fiddly if you're doing this yourself. The auto applicator will save you fuss and possibly losing tag bands. Some tips for use: It says on the case for the bands, to be careful opening it. Take that very seriously indeed. I've found that they're invariably stuck to the lid, so carefully open it in a closed palm. The bands are very small and can be murderous to find, or easily lost down a plug-hole. Application is straightforward, but if applying to softer or flabbier areas, push the pen into the skin before pushing the button and fitting to band. If you haven't quite fitted the band correctly and it doesn't come off easily, it's better to fit a second band. This is also a good idea with larger skin tags. A band may become uncomfortable after about 20 minutes, so if it's likely to bother you, apply a little Germoline, or another anaesthetic cream. Once fitted, cover the band with a small plaster or surgical tape. You may resist fiddling with it while awake, but I've found that I've probably scratched them off while sleeping. The can also work themselves off, so a plaster will recover the band for reapplication. While I've tried other methods for removing skin tags, these bands seem to be the best way. Getting someone to tie cotton around them is fine, as long as they tie it tight enough, otherwise it's just another irritation. Those electric pens that remove tags and moles etc work, but they are quite painful, can be bloody affairs and don't always take them off down to the skin.

Buy thread instead.
Not as easy to use as you'd imagine. Unless the tags are somewhere u can easily reach with ur good hand, ie. ur writing hand, then u still need someone to do 5his for you! Thereby negating the "Auto" selling point if this item. Effectivness: Not very efficient. The small band does not really get to the base, and it doesn't seem tight enough. I used this item on one tag and tied thread round another: thread one turned black in 2 days, flat in 4, off in 5. Tag one turned black after 3, still hasn't flattened and still attached after 7 days. Given that the ability to use it yourself is limited to what u can reach with ur good hand. Also, good luck if u have to use a mirror fiddling this thing on by yourself! It's also way overpriced at ยฃ18. I think the worst thing about this product though is the fact there are 2 sizes, Auto & Micro. Why? Why does there need to be 2 sizes? The big one will put the band on a smaller tag just as well as a big tag. Save money & time and buy some thread. Works much better and is much cheaper.

Easy to use, under arm skin tags are just annoying...
This applicator was easy to use. But due to location (armpit) I've failed to get the band right up against my skin... So I already know I'll have a small tag/bump. I was too scared to an extra band on as other users suggested because the bands are a little wide, and I didn't want to hurt myself by adding another one as the gap isn't that big! It's been on for 3 days so far. The band hasn't fallen off yet but the tag is very dry, black, and shrunk to about 20% of its initial size. So I hope it won't take much longer!!!! Edit: Got impatient after 5 days of first putting it on as I want it off and ready to heal in time for upcoming event. After gentle twisting, 80% of the base came off easily and I could see the skin was already starting to heal over underneath. Twisted and pulled the last "strand" still attached, a bit of resistance and was sore lol but came off eventually. Only tiniest tiny speck of blood (blotted once with tissue, disinfected with alcohol, and it stopped). Looks fine. As expect there's a nun left because band wasn't flat against skin. So looks like a small skin coloured raise mole. Definitely recommend as looks way better than before. In future I'd put this on further in advance and would let it fall of naturally but was desperate this time so no regrets lol. Only thing is I wish there were more alcohol wipes. This is cheap to get elsewhere so it's fine but I think the box only came with a few wipes and I used them all up just making sure my single skin tag stayed clean over the 5 days... Wouldn't be enough for more than 1 skin tag or for longer than that

Dear lord!
This device certainly did the job with removing my skin tags but dear lord, please follow the instructions! It clearly states to treat one skin tag at a time, did I listen? Nooooooooo I treated 2 at once. As soon as I placed the second band on regret hit me with full force. One of my skin tags was sizeable, could it have been my second twin attached to my body, hmmm ๐ค maybe, but I was done living with this extra piece of flesh. Once the band is on itโs on for good. My twin took a few days to drop off and the pain was excruciating (most likely due to its size and 2 pieces of my body dying at the same time) luckily I had a bottle of scotch on hand. 10 out of 10 for this product! 0 out of 10 for my stupidity. Donโt be like me, do better

Very good but they should send 20 bands instead of 10
The product was great. Works absolutely fine. Removed my 10 years old skin tag in 3 days. No pain. Only sometimes uncomfortable when its gets dry and hard after 1 or 1.5 days
