Reliable and Convenient RFID Lock for Cabinets
recently tried the ETEKJOY RFID Electronic Cabinet Lock and found it extremely convenient and reliable. Easy to install and does the job
These are easy to install if you take your time and measure carefully. I installed 4 of them in less than half an hour. One thing to note is that the cards work great, they trigger nearly half an inch from a 3/4" thick wood door, but the fobs barely work, if at all, through the same door.

Defaults to lock without power
So I agree with most reviewers. Getting it lined up for install is a trial-and-error effort and I had to install some wood spacers for the male side of the unit because it sits further back than the face frame of the unit. No big deal. I programmed the cards/fobs before installing. The programming was easy per the instructions and the fobs simply don’t have the range that the cards do, but I did figure out after install that I need to hold the fob in place for about 2 seconds and the lock will open. Ok so here’s the CAUTION. I figured that I would leave the battery cover off of unit while installing and getting it lined up. Bad idea. Once it was lined up I closed the drawer a bit too hard and the batteries came loose. The unit defaults to lock without power. I won’t go into details of what it took to get the drawer open - but it was not pretty!! The battery cover is now on! And I am buying the power cord as I do not want to go through that again and I have a power source in the drawer.

Good quality
Works great. I’ve had it for 4 years and have only changed the battery once. Very easy to program, and install. Heavy but not so heavy for t feels like it’s pulling against itself to come loose.

Does NOT work on 1/2" thick doors
Beyond that, this is a decent lock for keeping incidental lookyloos and kids out of your stuff. My cabinet has 1/2" mdf doors and it doesn't read through that. I tried it before install and I'm glad I did. I have a couple other projects I'm working on that I could use it for, but this one isn't it. 3 stars because product is good, but not as advertised

using to lock cabnet
Im using this to lock up the xbox to keep the small kids out. So far its working great however it was hard to align . You have to take real car in alliging

1" thick my A$$
Directions say, the door needs to be less than 1.2 Inches. Online here at amazon, it says 2.5cm or 1 inch. I wasn't using this for a cabinet door, but a hidden compartment in a dresser. I cut and cut the 2x4 on the dresser down to the point where it is less than 1/4 inch thick. Still doesn't work. tested it with a piece of 1/4" thick balsa wood, that works, but pine, nope, wont work. Complete trash. Probably going to have to replace the board on my dresser now, And Im outside my return window, so out $15. Nobody makes cabinet door out of balsa wood. Just FYI.

Slick RFID-controlled lock for cabinets, doors and drawers.
Pretty straight-forward installation. I installed over 5/8" thick mahogany, so the card needs to right up against the wood. It functions as expected and keeps my my booze safe and out of the hands of children. It's been 4 months, battery is fine so far. (it is supposed to beep when the battery is running out, and I understand it is crucial to replace it when you get the warning as there is no way to open the lock with a dead battery.

Not worth it
Very confusing instructions, zero mention of what app to use, no video instructions as stated in description. Impossible to use with the information given.

Do not buy at any cost even if they provide free Don't buy this product , Navkar person n product in pathetic , waste of time , energy and money ...... extremely worst product & service no manual , ones battery drain it stuck inside n u have to break the door ...... i have to to break my wardrobe because of this cheap lock ....
