What is the current draw for this motor when in 24V at half speed?

I dont know but had this motor for over a year now never had any problems with it at any speed or size bit. And I only got the standard power pack that came with machine. You do need to change $30 to 20.000 for the motor to run at 20.000rpm.

Im getting really bad vibrations from this is. When it raises its so bad. Ive got a variable speed control and nothing improves it. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. I measured the desibels at 90. I complained to Genmitsu and after several emails they replaced it which was better on vibrations but still noisy, so I built a cover for it. I said this on Genmitsu facebook forum and got banned from face book so they don't like criticism. Keith

can i fit 8mm in the chuck ?

You will need to get a new collect 8mm to fit the bit. hope this help you .

What watts is this motor?

If I remember correctly it's 500wats Good for soft materials but I would avoid metals. The bearings won't last.
