Great for the price!
I have been using this light for a week and I just ordered a second pair because unfortunately the battery lasts about 4 and 1/2 hours and I need a light for about 8 hours at work ( I am a Dental Hygienist) I love that it is wireless, light weight and easy to use… Honestly if you are a hygienist get a head light. THIS ONE would change your life at work!!

Backup light
Broke my expensive light and this was the best back up. I have the 3w and it lasted the full work day for about 10 patients (45mins per patient). I forgot to charge it so the next day i made it through about 3 patients (30 mins per patient). It’s not as bright as the light i paid big money for but for me it’s better than using the over head light . It’s just a backup for me .

Short term use only!
I have re-ordered this light twice! Initially my expensive (over $300) loupes light gave out on me after only a year (o— scopic *coughcough*). So once I discovered that brand of light cost so much, I looked into more affordable options and came across this. For less than $40 it’s a good deal. However initially the first light lasted about 6 months then pieces came apart (the orange covered/then the “lens” of the light/little glass circle). Instead of me trying to piece it back together I just re-ordered. Now my second light of this exact brand lasted me over 2 years (15 months to be exact). It just recently gave out on me for good-light wouldn’t turn on after charging. However the downside is, it does die fast. I basically would try to charge it between every patient appointment, so every hour/hour and a half, even if I only plugged it in for 5-10 minutes I needed to. There were multiple occasions the light would dim down as I was actively using it and completely die, leaving me starring into a dark mouth. Upside: It is pretty lightweight. I do like the fact it just clips on to my loupes/dental glasses. But it is not the most practical for long term use. It’s a good alternative when you need something quickly in the moment for a good value.

Weak light and fails to turn on.
The idea of having a wireless light is great but this one delivers a very poor light and doesn't turn on when you try most times.

WORTH IT
I am a dental hygienist and I have DFV loupes with a corded light which died after around 3 years of using it and I didn’t want to pay ~$400 to have it replaced. I decided to try this 40 dollar light and I have had it since March 2021 and it still works. It is not as bright at my corded DFV light but it gets the job done and I’m VERY happy being cordless and there’s no way I could ever go back. Also, it is very light weight compared to my corded light. I see now too that there is a 90 dollar option that I’m sure is a little brighter and I will probably spring for that when this one dies. For $40 you really can’t beat this light especially with how long it has lasted me. I have to charge it over my lunch break because the battery doesn’t last all day but it’s never died on me yet. Overall very pleased with this purchase!

Fragile
The product was great for the money for a few months. Then the clip broke, and I could not find a way to fix it. Without the clip, the light is useless for surgical loupes. I wish it had been sturdier.

Great for the price
Writing this review because honestly this light deserves it. This light for the low price that it is, LASTED 7 MONTHS. As a expanded functions dental assistant I’m on a budget and can’t afford a fancy loupes light. This $40 light honestly impressed me. The battery lasted about a WEEK with all day use. Whereas my drs expensive light lasted barely half of the day.The only thing that stinks is that the clip that attaches the light to my loupes broke. Otherwise I would still be using it because the light itself works just fine.So breaking it down:Positives-long lasting battery! Cordless, adjustable light intensity, lasted 7 months, fast shippingNegatives-clip gave out/broke, a little heavy but that’s to be expected since it’s a battery on your loupes. Will be buying again. Highly recommend!!
