I was looking at something that was almost triple the cost of this and not as compact. These are solid, well packed, and actually hold quite a bit. (I guess that’s based on your concept of quite a bit.). They hold all the stuff I wanted to straighten up, and I can add at least that much more. Mine were smooth, no rough spots, and overall I’m impressed with the quality for the price. I’d order them again.

The width of the openings is wide enough for 6 pens (of average size, I've got pentel energel pens in the pics and pilot v5 rt pens here that are about the same size) with just enough leftover space to almost fit a 7th but not quite enough so it's just annoying lol. Personally it's too deep for me. In my pictures I have my pens balanced by their clips on the edge of the opening - if they're all the way in, there's about an inch of pen sticking out (see highlighters). Plus, with the angle of the shelves, the pens don't stack very well because angle is so sharp - I don't know how to put it into words. The tips of the pens get caught in the angle. See the third picture.Also, if I stick both pen holders together, the wood has either warped enough or wasn't cut quite right, because there's a gap between them.Lastly, while the planes of the wood have been sanded and are (mostly) smooth, most of the edges have me worried about splinters. They're just kind of unfinished.It looks nice enough from afar, but if you're like me and planned on stuffing it with pens (at least the specific retractable ones like I use) I'd keep looking. I don't know if I dislike it enough to bother returning it. This would probably be good for tools or paint brushes though.

I have 6 of these and love them. I used them to store my alcohol pens and watercolor pencils. I wish they came with wall mounts but they were easy to hang with heavy duty Velcro

These are great for holding my colored pencils! Very well made and sturdy. Paired them with a larger caddy from another seller, and now all my pencils are together instead of in my homemade cup holders all over the table😁. PS...I have enough pencils to fill 2 large Art Bin cases.

The item appears to be sturdy and doesn't take up much space on my daughters' desk that they share while doing their virtual learning. I love how the individual shelves are positioned on angles, which makes it easier to store & retrieve pens, pencils, or other school/ office supplies, and. Most of all, the consumer receives two bamboo pencil holders as a set instead of one. For under $20, that's a real bargain!

The product is GREAT. Sturdy, well constructed, and it was a bummer to return it. But the compartments were too small for my collection of pencils and markers. Otherwise I would have kept it.

It looks sturdy and great. But when I align them together, there's always a gap in between (The table I placed on is flat) it's because the sides are not perfectly straight which is not a big issue if you are not a perfectionist. I won't bother to return :p

Shipment was quick. It’s what I expected. Great to put all my cricut pens. Love it. Perfect size in my dream box.

Bought this back in December, and I've loved them so far. Came with two, and they are great for holding pens or makeup brushes since they can sit in very deep and nothing sticks out very much. Really happy with my purchase, came very securely packaged without any damages and I can tell they're very high quality. Will definitely last a very long time! Highly recommend :)

This is a great product but seems to be a bit pricy for what this product does. I think the second time around I would try and find a product worth the actual amount paid.
