I have a very old workbench that I have always struggled with to open and close the drawers when they are loaded with tools as these drawers are wood on wood. This tape on the bottom sticks well to that old wood and makes it much easier to open and close the drawers. This tape does not work as well as if I had installed slides but works so much better and very simple to install.

Sticks well and gives old wood slides a break from shredding and helps them slide.

I bought this tape to replace the rayskin on my Asiatic bow, which had been damaging my arrow finish and even the heat‑shrink tubing that protects the fletchings. This tape works perfectly for the job. Funny enough, an AI actually recommended it to me—and it turned out to be exactly what I needed.

Worked pretty well on chest of drawers with center guide. Didn’t have to worry about pulling the drawers out on my feet, but better than before.

Easy to apply and adhered well to stainless steel surface. Not too difficult to peal tape using fingernail or knife. Surprisingly strong. I used this on a belt sanding backing plate and it is standing up to the high speed rubbing from the back of the belt. Very slippery product.

Holy crap this tape is AMAZING! I had never heard of this type of “slick” tape before so when I saw it I figured I’d give it a try and I am soooo happy I did. WOW! So mine came in a small roll wrapped in plastic wrap which was a bit odd as I was expecting it to at least look as it does in the pic but ok I guess. After touching it I immediately knew I would love this stuff. The first thing I could think of using it on way my Milwaukee M18 track saw so I cut a few thin small pieces and stuck them underneath the base of my saw where it comes in contact with the aluminum guide track and on the little plastic tensioner pieces that squeeze the track as you tighten them so there isn’t any side to side play whenever you are making a precise cut. The results are insane! This thing literally flys up and down this track now like it’s fully loosened but it’s actually tightened so there’s no play. It’s super wild how much of a difference this stuff made. I’m super excited to come up with new ways to put this stuff to good use and will absolutely be buying another roll when this one is gone and I’ll be getting the largest one the sell. Seriously give this stuff a try I promise you won’t be disappointed especially if you want your track saw to glide better than you thought possible. Check the pics to see where I tapped.

I used this to reduce friction on the sliding parts of an "electric snow shovel". Where I would have expected a wheel, the manufacturer provided only a sliding surface (polypropelene? ABS?). I put a layer of this tape on, and the shovel moved more easily over the ground. Adhesive was good enough, but I expect it will need to be replaced often due to the abrasion.

Adhesive is strong and drawers slide smooth.

Got this to put under the edges of timber draws to they would run smoothly and it worked perfectly.Got a second roll to finish the whole dresser.

My house was built in 1940 and I'm pretty sure the kitchen cabinets were built with the house. I was tired of having wood dust all over the items we keep in the kitchen drawers. I looked into every drawer slide that has been invented to try to fix the issue but I would have had to rebuild the drawers to make them fit. I did try the wax and it did work for a time, but eventually I ended up with wood dust in my drawers again. My husband suggested Teflon sheets but I found that to be expensive. I came across this tape while looking for alternatives. It was recommended in a few different woodworking forums and the price was right. I decided to give it a try. I have not been disappointed! The tape was pretty easy to apply. The backing can be a bit difficult to remove but I found if you don't have a clean cut edge it makes it easier to remove. I bought enough to apply to both the drawer and the cabinet. I took the handle of my scissors and rubbed the tape all over to ensure maximum adhesion to the wood. So far it's holding up and it's been a couple of months. The drawers slide better, there's no squeaking that comes with two pieces of wood rubbing together, there hasn't been any wood dust all over our utensils and cooking gadgets, and I didn't have to rebuild the drawers. If you have old wood on wood drawers I highly recommend this tape over wax or drawer slides.
