I bought these castors to support a racing sim steering wheel platform that would allow me to move it out of the way when I am done. They work perfectly! They have an M8 stem which matched up perfectly to my platform. The wheels are 1.5 inch and feel like rubber. They are dual locking which means the wheels will not rotate nor will the castors swivel while locked. This combination keeps the platform from sliding when on the carpet when locked. When unlocked, they roll smoothly and seem sturdy and stable. Check your size! I highly recommend these wheels for hard floors and especially carpet.

Use this for new standing desk which had the option for wheels. Move real well. Fit the standing table. Really good price and installation was easy. The locking is a simple step down on it for lock and flip up to unlock. All the tools come with the bag to install and the material are great.

I bought these locking wheels to use on my NLR Wheel Stand 2.0 and it works wonderfully. Wheels have plenty of grip when locked on wooden floor, they're very smooth and quiet. I use high end load cell brake pedals and when locked the stand wont move at all. There's a slight side wobble but that's to be expected, but it doesn't affect anything whatsoever. Great wheels!

Did not last ... purchased these right at a year ago to put on an ottoman. Today I figured out where all the ball bearings I was finding were coming from which also makes sense of why they have not been rolling well for a few months. They were all falling apart and letting the ball bearings fall out ... wasn't just one or two. Have removed them and thrown them away. Note that they were not subjected to heavy use.

I put this on my Racing sim setup to make it easier to move whenever guests come over to my house and sleep over as my setup is in the guest bedroom. They work great.

Ordered two sets of four wheels for the sim rig. They fit perfectly into the T nuts M8 size threads, but one of the wheels was completely missing the nut that is used to tighten itself to a fixture. Instead was this ball. Clearly what had happened was original shape is a ball and it gets machined down to a nut. Well one of the wheels it was still in a ball. I was able to get it to screw on using pliers instead of a wrench with a but of extra work. In terms of roll smoothness and value for money though look no further for your sim rig. Just buy two sets/8 wheels to minimize any risk of too much weight on one wheel.

bought this for my sit/stand desk i bought this year and screw into the foot sockets perfectly. now i can move my desk to clean behind or get something that got lost behind the desk. other review say it fell apart but so far so good and hope it stays that way
